Congrats on the dream move. I have been trying to convince the wife for years she’s a head teacher we currently live in Dubai. But it’s the dream . We would need immigration advice if she was ready to make the move. But having a 2 y old and the guns and crime and high prices and taxes totally puts her off lol am like well be fine lol … one day I hope this changes. Look at Tampa area called land o lakes it’s stunning. Good luck ❤

I have a house north of Orlando. I'm not a fan of 2 story houses in Florida. If there are any bedrooms upstairs it can get a little warm during the summer months. I like one level homes in Florida

Just be careful. Not sure if your house is new or not but if your roof is more than 15 yrs old you may struggle to get insurance. We got a new build 3 yrs ago when we came from UK and our premiums are lower and etc. Hope all goes well!

I really don't like modern houses. We just bought a 1945 brick house in NC. It's on a private road on half an acre, with a creek.
