A lot of people aren’t considering how many of the teams Florida faces this year are in just as big of transition as they are. LSU, FSU, Miami, UCF, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Mississippi State are all teams that have lost MAJOR consistency in personnel from last year, and the majority of those teams have to face Florida in Gainesville in a Top 5 Home Field advantage in CFB. And on top of this, Florida has lit up the offseason with the perfect moves to add promising depth and starting talent at their weakest positions. Not to say they can but I wouldn’t be shocked if Florida wins 8 or 9 games and gets real close to that 12th seed berth. Don’t sleep on the Gators.

As a Gater Hater and Dawgs fan. I've been to more than I can remember and I have always had a good time in Jacksonville even after Spurrier and Myer had our number. Florida is going to have athletes and speed every year. I think they are possible playoff contenders even though I don't know who they play this year. If not this season the Gaters will be back in the hunt by next year. If Gaters put it on the Horns then I can say they will win 9 games or better. Book it

Yeah 9 is gone be a stretch and 5 is actually a good guess. ,They are a team that has a win over Kirby after the first year when they were playing for Championships. So I don't know about Nine, I guess I am going by saying they could possibly be in playoffs which is a minimum 9 wins. Their schedule is close to Dawgs but Dawgs road schedule is more difficult. Both are in Austin, Florida has Miami,A&M, Kentucky, LSU and Ole Miss at Home and at Tennessee Florida State. I got them over 5 and I'm sticking with my outrageous pic and gambling

Alot of the teams on their schedule lost alot of key players from last year so I can envision a scenario where they finish with only 3 losses the three being Texas, Georgia & Ole Miss. What most fail to realize is McElwain although was a terrible coach brought in some really great talent and was a good evaluator of talent. Mullen was able to capitalize on it because he is a genius when it comes to offensive play calling and that’s why he had the level of success he did. However Mullen couldn’t recruit for anything and as more of McElwains talent left the wheels started falling off. Billy has had to come in and rebuild not only the roster but all the other aspects where Florida was extremely behind. I’m not sure if Billy will work out but he has proven he can recruit and his ability to evaluate talent. Also having a returning proven QB will be a tremendous help.

Billy is more akin to muschamp who took over a broken program.. will is an excellent recruiter and ethics guy but a terrible HC. Billy took over a broken program with less talent than will and no culture of accountability. Im no fan of billy but he is a better overall coach than the previous guy. Florida's roster has not improved as much as some think. They do have more depth because of the transfer portal.
