Ever wonders why there are people who crossed sea by swimming and had no issues? 1) For his first attempt he ask for coast guard help because his bubble capsized. 2) For his second attempt, concerned mariner called coast guard. For both cases they have to use tax payer money to respond. Should they not respond for the second case because he did not ask for it? Let say in his first attempt he was knocked out when his bubble capsized and people called to help him so coast guard should not survey the area because it was not him that did the report? Isn't that same as ambulance not responding to emergencies call just because the neighbor called not the person affected?

Even though how insane or impossible it sounds, I now actually want him to do it (make a real try). Get sponsored by the big guys, have a big team help planning out everything, make it professional with special build bubble and not some homemade in his garage, and when his adventure begins have him being monitored by a ship or several with navigators, film crew, doctors in case of emergency, you name it.
