Florida Road Trip ? A vacation in Florida: 3 weeks in the Sunshine State | Miami, Orlando & Key...

Finally, after 2 years we can fly to Florida again for a vacation here. In part 1 of our travelogue we fly to Orlando and drive our road trips to Daytona Beach from there on day 2. We visit the legendary sandy beach with the Daytona Beach Bandshell-a concert arena right on the beach-, look at the boardwalk with the Custom Motorcycle Show. Then it's onto Daytona's Main Pier and we visit Joe's Grab Shack, a popular seafood restaurant on the pier.

Then it's off to the epicenter of Bike Week, Main Street Daytona. Here we experience the Daytone Bike Week for the first time. An incredible event here in the Sunshine State of Florida.
I hope you will join me on an exciting road trip through the most beautiful cities, towns, attractions, natural beauties and sights in Florida.
You can see an overview of our route right at the beginning of this video. In the next few weeks we will be traveling through Florida together. Part 2 next week! Be there and subscribe to my channel. But now it's off to Orlando and Daytona.
Our 3-week road trip starts in Orlando
Our journey starts at Stuttgart Airport and we are looking forward to an exciting 3-week road trip through Florida. We are so glad to be back in the Sunshine State and can't wait to land in Orlando, pick up the rental car and drive.
So that you know what awaits you on our trip over the next few weeks, here is a short preview of what we will experience together in Florida. This is our route for the road trip and it's going to be an exciting trip!
To the legendary Daytona Beach and Bike Week
Our first stop is Daytona Beach for Bike Week! We're really excited for all the atmosphere of Daytona Bike Week, Daytona Beach and the Main Pier and Boardwalk. I'm particularly looking forward to the iconic Main Street packed with bikers, Harleys, concerts and street events.
Universal Orlando-Universal Studios Florida and Island's of Adventure with Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Several days later we will have fun at Universal Studios in Orlando. My happy place. We will of course visit both Universal Theme Parks, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The gorgeous Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the highlights here. After 2 years we will finally buy annual passes again to have fun at our happy place-Universal Studios Orlando.
Everglades National Park-Alligators, Wildlife and Beautiful Nature
From Orlando we will drive to Homestead to visit Everglades National Park. We will walk the popular Anhinga Trail to see alligators, turtles and colorful wildlife.
Miami Beach with Ocean Drive
After the Everglades we drive to Miami Beach. We look forward to relaxing on South Beach and exploring everything Miami Beach has to offer. South Beach, Ocean Drive and the Art Deco District are just some of the things we want to see and do in Miami Beach.
On the Florida Keys to Key West for Sunset Watching
Then we explore the Florida Keys. We look forward to touring the island, seeing the Southernmost Point again and of course enjoying the beautiful little beaches.
Strolling Duval Street to people watch and enjoy the great weather is also on our to-do list while in Key West. The sunset at Mallory Square is also a must do when we are in Key West. We love watching the sun set over the water and seeing all the street performers that are out and about at night. It's always such a fun and festive atmosphere.
After Key West, we'll head back to the Keys with a stopover in Marathon. But only for 1 night. After our brief stay in Marathon, we will travel to Naples, Clearwater and Sarasota before returning to Orlando. On our road trip we will see Anna Maria Island again, Sanibel, Casey Key and Longboat Key. We will visit Honeymoon State Park with legendary Honeymoon Beach, Ringling Estate in Sarasota and much more. I hope you will join us on our journey. Schönes Video, Danke. 👍Ich war im Oktober 2023 in Daytona zum Biketoberfest, das ist der Bike Week sehr ähnlich. Ganz wichtig (finde ich) ist einen Gehörschutz dabei zu haben, es ist echt sehr Laut da.

Schones video. Wir waren Dezember 22 bis Januar 23 in Daytona und den letzten sommer für 2 Monate in treasure island, Orlando, Tampa und Clearwater Beach. Jetzt sind wir dabei unser visa zu beantragen.

Tolles infomatives Video 😊 in welchem Monat wart ihr dort? Wollen nächstes Jahr mitte März auch endlich mal hin, eignet sich der März oder wann ist eurer Meinung nach das beste Wetter? Danke und Viele Grüße

Wir waren im März bis Anfang April dort. Von Mitte März an bis Mitte/Ende April ist unserer Meinung nach die beste Zeit, um hinzufahren. Schön warm, wenig Regen und nicht zu schwül. Wir gehen manchmal auch Ende November wegen der Holidays. Die Amerikaner wissen, wie man Weihnachten feiert :) Vor allem die Themenparks wie Universal und Disney sind dann einfach ein Traum. Aber es ist weniger Strandwetter im November/Dezember, eher um die 20 bis 24 °C. Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß dort.
