Great to see all the work being done at TAL! Nice to see some HCC fish in the mix. Thanks for helping Hillsborough Community College with their aquaculture program through the years. We are blessed.

so they think breeding fish on food pellets will do what? put them into wild they wont know what to eat... they will expect being fed pellets every day not the food source they usually eat in the wild...

These fish are grown so that wild fish do not have to be harvested to meet demand in the ornamental trade. Transitioning a cultured fish onto manufactured feed instead of live feed saves production costs and may increase profits for farmers. These fish will not be released into the wild as fish used for stock enhancement might be.
