Jarrain Jones is a great point. Now lets roll with Lester and the gang lol. People just dont realize what is coming. This teams talent level has been on a steady climb and this offseason has been the greatest jump IMHO.

The Evolution Needed is Portal and Retainment. Mike Norvell for example has an insane 60+ % hit rate good for 10 combine invites. Yet, FSUs recruiting profile on these sites is buillt by some 80%+ HS.

I think it’s a conference dependent thing which makes it difficult to predict. If we’re in the ACC I’d set the O/U at 53.5 But if we have 2 more years ACC and then 3 in the B1G… maybe O/U at 49.5? 47.5?

12 Invites and 10 were transfers. Yet 10 Blue chip transfers is only good for two spots on the board. Miami at 6 with 15 Bluechips and FSU at 10 with 26 is ludicrous. I know its just a matter of a changing in rules/era and we are finally getting the data points. What do you guys think the fix is?

Doesn't need a fix. Your very best players in the draft continue to be overwhelmingly HS. Looking like 27/32 first rounders HS not transfers.

​@@TheNolecast Y'all just talked about how it was absurd Bama was considered more talented than FSU the only difference is one teams players were HS and the others were transfers. Also all Transfers were also HS recruits at one point so its a misnomer no? This is our very first data set with 4 years of the portal and FSU has 10 guys at the Combine.

​@@TheNolecastgranted it's a smaller pool of blue chip recruits they are still graded as blue chips by 247. While there are fewer top players available there any given year I think a team.like FSU should get credit for grabbing 10.

Ramsey was a safety/ corner. Deloach is a linebacker

@@exploiteddna yeah it’s all about positions. Jalen has elite size for a corner and deloach is a little smaller than an elite level linebacker. Still a pretty decent player

You won't have elite talent jumping in the "portal" in a state of limbo. Most of your elite players that enter the portal aren't guessing where they are going. They are choosing. When it comes to linebacker 90% of time they should be developmental depth pieces. If they can diagnose and react to plays fast and understand the defensive playbook then you can do a lot with that.
