It is good to see the ACC up to, possibly, two schools. We will see how sustainable such a strategy is. It is too early to tell but nobody has even been able to go back-to-back in this regard.

They are.. FSU has a lot of recruiting momentum and in the top 5 for many of the best HS prospects in 24 class Might have to move some of the lower ranked committed out to make room for someone better.

Why would it ruin college football? If anything it's making it better. Kids don't have to waste years n never getting a chance...now to can transfer and still potentially get drafted in the NFL. Also it creates more good teams and opportunities to compete. Also good programs can move a player not good enough and turn a position from weakness to strength. It's great for CF.

LSU now is, but after 4 years with Norvell, doing well in the portal and barely top 20 in HS recruiting while, UF , Miami with 1ST YEAR COACHES and Clemson all finish much higher in HS recruiting will guarantee finishing 3rd or worse in the state and ACC every year. That will be proven next year.

“Much higher” is a bit of a exaggeration. FSU has the number 16 class, UF is 14, Clemson is 13.. Miami has a solid class at 7.. but 2024 fsu has a higher rank class then all of them. So I think FSU is in a great position

I would say one problem with the portal is that if I am a high school kid, then why go to a school where I know they will have me on the bench for two years (maybe) and then right before it is my time, he brings in a guy with more starting experience. So I suspect portal success means less high school respect.
