I met Caroll many many years ago at an event at my elementary school. He is a TRULY kind man. I got to be one of the kids on stage with him as he played Big Bird, then after when he got out of his costume I asked for his autograph. I had a yellow tablet (the ones the schools would hand out to the students) and he drew me a picture of Oscar the Grouch, then flipped the page and drew me a picture of Big Bird, then used the backing of the tablet and drew several more pictures and signed every one of them. I still have Caroll's artwork! I pull them out every once in a while to remember being a child, and remember how special those drawings had made me feel. Thanks Caroll!

KLUNKET I also met Carol more than once. He is an amazing guy!!! I love him and what he does! He is awesome and I love him. He is an everyday inspiration who makes us laugh and smile. He rocks and is such an amazing guy who makes kids happy and laugh!! I grew up watching Sesame Street and have loved big bird and Oscar since I first watched Sesame Street. He is amazing!

Hi There Caroll: 1969 and the years following despite some hurdles for both of us were some of the best times of my life...thanx for Coney Island, thanx for trying to give me guidance or trying to. I wish I had listened to your advice. I didn't realize how much I lost until I moved a couple of years ago...I am going to open the center despite all the odds...
