I have warm feelings for the world that the creators of Blue's Clues, together with Steve, created together; it truly touched millions. It's wonderful to see that, evidenced by this interview, Steve Burns himself is such a great soul. A collaboration such as this, with a pediatric cancer charity, is just about the most 'Steve' thing he could possibly do: thank you for channeling that same goodness into our world today!

Steve is such a honest person I know he said in some interviews he isn’t the nicest person but he’s the most honest person and that’s what makes him kind and understanding person 💙💚

It's so nice to hear Steve open up about the struggles he's faced, even while being on Blue's Clues. Growing up, I was tuning into that show quite often and it's always had a special place in my heart, so I love seeing him having these open discussions as an adult. Fantastic episode. Thank you for teaching me to be curious, Steve.

As someone with vague memories of watching Blues Clues as a child, this really brings the perspective of who Steve Burns is beyond the actor on the screen. We've all grown as people throughout time. As someone about to graduate, it does feel like there are too many directions I can go in but the stress over finding a niche direction to work towards is real.

Framing gentle curiosity as a skill that has to be exercised was so insightful. Plus the lesson the character of Steve teaches, of the importance of genuinely asking for help, resonates with me in particular. It's hard to ask for help sometimes, and the vulnerability of that character really made him brave.

Wow. This is my favorite episode so far. So many great points to reap from this. I completely agree with the importance of maintaining curiosity throughout life; it forces us to be open-minded and never stop growing. This is why I personally believe that adults have a great deal to learn from children-they haven't attached to any biases or concepts yet. True listening, as Steve mentioned, also requires curiosity. It is one of the most beautiful things someone can do for someone else and the only way to foster a genuine connection. His point of asking for help struck me hard. Being vulnerable and seeking help is not weak, it is tremendously admirable and rather indicative of strength. It shows that you respect yourself and are willing to improve as a person, and there is no way that is anything but brave. So true about the toxicity of the idea of a singular dream. Humans are complex and we are not destined for any one thing. There is a liberation in knowing that there's an infinite amount of things to explore, discover, and love.

I love how this interview is playful and serious at the same time. The pursuit of happiness in life really isn't a straight line of how you want your life to be and trying to control it. Like time, life is wibbly-wobbly and we shouldn't limit the possibilities.
