Great video. Were you fishing where the fishing pier used to be before a hurricane destroyed it? As I remember it there was a long line of rocks to the righthand side of it that look the same as where you were fishing. Oh yes, I just subscribed,

Nice job. Loved to go there as it is the only spot I can bring my Irish Wolfhound to run around leash free. Had 1 session that lasted for about 20 minutes on fresh dead shrimp. Like a light switch on and off must have caught about 30 black drum on double hook chicken rigs and was sprinting back and forth between 2 poles to keep them baited up and the fish coming in. After last fish, I had to collect all the drum and throw them in the cooler. A glorious session. Went back next day to imitate the same conditions.......not a bite. Just lucky I guess

I fish Florida surf angler rods over the bar now. Theres fish here year round but for surf fishing the east coast time it with the mullet run. How do you cats the spinning rods with out cutting your finger and do you have any videos on casting your conventional rod

Things to try: Glove, Finger cot (Staples), BandAid, Use a casting reel, Fish through the cuts until you’ve built up calluses... (apply NuSkin when done fishing)

ed phillips made some great suggestions. If you are cutting your fingers youre probably trying to cast to hard honestly. Id suggest getting a better rod and reel it will increase your distance a lot.

i dont remember man. you can check the upload date tho.
