On January 6th 2021 I set off to thru hike the Florida Trail. This video will document my first 50 miles of trail through the Big Cypress National Preserve and Seminole Reservation.

Great video, I do day hikes in the Big Cypress. Great job describing the park and its abundant wildlife

Great videos! I'm a native Floridian living in the western suburbs of Ft Lauderdale and was pleased to see someone traveling the Florida Trail: it's not for everyone...it's definitely NOT the touristy area, but the terrain is unique and I'm glad you came to visit and even more pleased that you are highlighting the Florida Trail. Happy Hiking through the rest of the trail!

Cool videos. Was it hard to find camping between the reservation and lake okechobee? I’m planning a thru hike and the FarOut app makes it seem like I’ll have to do 50 miles in a day.

Thank you. On that section we camped on the canal dikes. It's hard to get tent stakes into the ground, free standing tent would be ideal
