Beach walking and camping for the day, finishing tomorrow!

I MET STINKPICKLE with some trail magic (near 514-515 NoBo) that same week I met you. You two are actually the first two through hikers that I stopped and talked to other than just asking if they wanted some water or something. I've always been a little bit shy myself and hesitant to interrupt other people's isolation. But I now make a point of trying to stop and talk to every through hiker I see I'm going to be much better prepared as a trail angel next season. Thanks for the conversation and these very cool videos.

Sand Dollars are my favorite. I have never been to the panhandle but I heard it is beautiful. God Bless

Beach hiking in my opinion is some the hardest if not hardest hiking - unless the sand is really packed or wet or both. However, I have not waded through the swamp for hours as you have - so maybe that is worse. Congratulations on making it to this point and ONE MORE DAY to a celebration for you!👍

I know that the KZbin is all about video. But, I would be most interested in hearing or reading more of your reflections upon the trail. Do you have any plans to share more of your thoughts about this journey in the near future?

Contemplating that right now. Im wondering if my videos give sort of a false view of the trail being that I don't film too much of the road walks and bad days, and ugliness of parts of the trail. I have discussed it with a lot of other hikers and am formulating what I may want to say if I was to do that type of video. In no way do I want it to come across in a way that it discourages someone to attempt a thru hike. I just need more time to collect all my thoughts and let it settle in.
