FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY- Disney World & Universal Orlando Resort- Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy ✈️ 🇺🇸

Originally from Liverpool, myself Andrew (The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago. We LOVE to travel and explore the world! We spend our free time showcasing the very best of Tenerife and our general life - as well as travelling abroad whenever we can!
IT’S FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me, Laura and Mum & Dad as we start our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International travelling Premium Economy, the class just below Upper Class. Filmed in September 2022.
We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2 at Manchester with Virgin Atlantic which was very nice. We also show if there are any delays with the security checks at Manchester. We were extremely lucky again and got to fly on Virgin Atlantics Newest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft called “Lady Emmeline”.
The flight went smoothly, exploring and showing the whole new Premium Economy cabin and new entertainment system. We also loved the “tail-cam” feature where you could watch a webcam of the exterior of the plane for takeoff and landing.
The flight was very fast, only taking 7 hours 53 minutes and before we knew it we were at Orlando International Airport. Customs area was not too bad and we were through to the Alamo Rental Car desk in just 35 minutes. We could not believe our luck and our timing! The Florida buzz hit us straight away as we arrived at our lovely rental villa in Windsor Hills. We then decided to get straight to Universal Halloween Horror Nights for a little mooch around with our frequent fear pass. All the way from Manchester at 6AM to HHN in the same day was a great feeling!
We rounded off the day with a quick walk around City Walk and a 2 foot long hotdog from World Famous Hotdogs.

Me and my parents went on last in may from around early may til mid may we also choose to fly with virgin Atlantic as they had started up a direct flight from Edinburgh to Orlando Melbourne airport got very lucky with the weather only rained at the start of our holiday and a thunderstorm ⛈️ right on the last day fell apart towards the end as we missed our flight ✈️ thankfully air lingus came to our rescue 🛟 with a flight ✈️ Dublin then a short flight back to Edinburgh but getting to see so much so new stuff Star Wars galaxy’s edge Disney sky liner the Jason Bourne stunt tacular seeing part of Harry Potter land the purple triple decker bus Epcot Hollywood studios animal kingdom and the avatar ride and of course the kilamanjaro safari typhoon lagoon magic kingdom such a beautiful place to visit im sure Walt Disney would love all the new things Disney are always bringing to Disney world Orlando Florida

Great to see you both back in the sunshine state again, and this time with the added bonus of your parents who by the way I tip my hat to, what a sterling effort that was on travel day. Please make sure you take them back to HHN, my wife and I laughed so much when your dad who is obviously a little nervous, was confronted with one of the scare cast almost on top of him as he turned around. Wow premium economy and it's a 2x4x2 layout, just as bad as TUI's 767's. Saying that Virgin have gone downhill over the last few years, poor food and bad service. Pity the cost cutting but ther are not the airline they once was.

Nice smooth travel day, you lucky devils. There is a burger joint in T2 called Archies which we had recommended to us but we didn't see it until after we ate upstairs at the Italian. We've just come home from Windsor hills . Fantastic resort . Even after arriving at 1.30am to be told we wasn't on the guards list. Got turned away to try sort out why, even though we had the codes to get in the villa . The guard wasn't willing to help in anyway . So had to sit in IHOP carpark till 10am till we finally got help and was allowed on resort. Returned to a very sorry looking guard who had clearly typed our name in wrong to the system . But I'd go back tomorrow .

The San Carlos in the airport was lovely - we were lucky and got there for 4am as they were opening so didn’t need to queue. We had American pancakes 🥞 They were delicious! As you say a bit pricey but we don’t mind on our holidays xx

Fantastic vlog, so funny watching your dad. Our last vist to Orlando was in 2018 for my sons 30th birthday we are from country durham but flew from Manchester as it was my sons wish to fly virgin from there. We stayed over the night befor in a Manchester Airport Hotel. My son has Autism and he' loves plane spoting so we took him to that very pub that has awesome veiws of planes coming in and taking off. Great vlog. Airport looked very quiet. Fair play to you heading off to Universal. We are not fans of HHN but can see the attraction. Love Universal. The 1st time we went to Florida it was September & the thunderstorms were unreal. Airport pub - 100% recommend. Also have the Runway Visitor Park on the other end of the runway which is also amazing. Have a wonderful time at Florida!

The reason San Carlo has a queue, the food is exquisite. Had a full english at 5am 👍. People are seated every 5 mins or so. Only go if you have plenty of time to kill. 😁

Was watching Dons travel vlogs and I agree that Disney taking the piss with price increases and don’t really care about there fans anymore, seems policy just price people out and if suckers want to pay we don’t care , more money less service more profits for share holders I will never spend money company that laugh at there customers for being idiots, how much for made China ears ridiculous

Great vlog , poor toffee dad scared of thunder and lightening hilarious ( bless) I agree I’m not fond of Costa coffee either! We usual do breakfast as part of our ritual, however it wasn’t that great in January so may have to go to pret instead ( love your pronunciation made me chuckle 🤭 plane food didn’t look great , it wasn’t in January either !
