I'm sorry you had all that stress with the house as you were starting ur holiday. I go 4th November and I already starting to get anxious I know once there I will be ok. I'm glad u shown the food at No1 and virgin. I will def get a meal deal for plane just in case xx

We always take a packed lunch anyway so if you dont like the food at least you have something to eat if not its yoyr tea as you may not want the hassle of buying a supper as you land

Hi Lisa, our food in September/October was awful and we were lucky enough to travel in Upper. We are with you in taking our own food, we did do the survey when returning and told them exactly the same point as you are raising. Also the later flight times we were not impressed with, we were absolutely exhausted when we eventually got home at about 830pm xx hope you had a good time though

Oh dear, it comes across just how tired and exhausted you both where before even starting this trip. Moving house itself is the most stressful thing, let alone on top of a road trip! Looking forward to seeing your trip turn around and seeing you enjoy yourself more. 😍.

We flew Virgin (Upper) this year and BA (business) last year and the food was far superior on BA in comparison. The service on both was equally as good .

Travel days are so stressful alone, sorry you both had all that extra stress. But glad there were some positives along the way. We booked the Rosen Inn-Buena Vista for our first night when we go in February then we move over to Pop Century for the rest of the stay. Always look forward to your vlogs. They make me happy.

First watch of your channel & what a video to start off with! We’ve flown into Tampa the last 3 times we’ve been to Florida & it’s been an absolute breeze, purely for the fact it was cheaper to fly in there compared to Orlando. The hour drive across to Orlando is manageable as well. My wife has insisted on flying with BA the last couple times (we have tried Virgin once) & prefer BA going by our experiences. Really want to head back out there but with both my sons at school, timing with that & the heat is a bit more precarious now as we can’t go at the end of September like we have done in the past. Hi and welcome to our channel. Thanks for watching. Many others are saying they are preferring BA right now too. We collect/use Virgin miles which is why we always fly with them. It's hard juggling term time and trips isn't it?! Ours are both at uni now and doing their own trips, so life has changed for us these past couple of years. But we've been there and we know exactly how you feel. 🙂

Completely agree with you about plane food being terrible since Covid. We recently flew Singapore Airlines from Sydney to Heathrow- we were SO excited to try the food. And it was terrible. Even the kids meals. My 10 year old survived on crisps and rolls. (he would probably say it was great 😂). I used to LOVE plane food. Here’s hoping they improve it as time goes on…

Food selection on virgin especially premium has gone very poorly so we agree . We are going to buy food next time to take through to the flight with us. Lots of snacks to be packed too. The meals were extremely poor this summer , our meal options were the same as yours . We have complained in the feedback forms from virgin too - upload your video in the feedback form as they ask for video reviews too !

We flew from LHR to MCO back in August in Upper Class - I had a chicken curry that was bland and swimming in water - totally inedible. Cooked breakfast on the way back was ok, but not the best. I rarely eat on a flight but wanted to check out if anything had changed - it hadnt 😞

We flew to Tampa in August Flight was quiet and really good. Stopped in Tampa a couple of days before moving to Endless summer.Yes Airline food is not good.

That's a shame. I try and stay open minded and what's good for one person may be awful to another. We aren't fussy eaters at all but we've sadly seen a real decline in quality 🙁

Love travel day vlogs but nothing worse then feeling ill. Not orlando, but we were due to go to torquay and may wife was ill.the night before and we couldn't travel. I haven't eaten plane food for years,apart from the scone, i always pick up a meal deal. Next month we are flying to perth with Singapore airlines in business and while my husband will.be tucking into the food i will be there with.my cheese sandwich and crisp lol

I dont really eat plane food, as I am so fussy about what I eat that there is nothing I would eat, so on way back from Maldives I got the food from the resort to eat on the plane.

We were disappointed recently. Especially as some of us are gluten free and there was literally nothing but a bar and some fruit or something crazy for the “high tea” portion. We complained and they got us a cheese plate from first class. But the main dish was a very dry salmon thing. We haven’t been on virgin for four years and the food was definitely worse!!

Tampa airport is leaps and bounds above oia, you would have been better off driving to treasure island for the night and driving to Orlando the next day

I did wonder about booking it that way, but we've done that drive at night before and knew it would be quiet and we knew the Rosen Inn would be a comfy hotel, so we just went with that option.

A good idea to check in to a local hotel near Tampa then continue in the morning ,Treasure island seems bit far..There are many great hotels just off the 275 or I4 at reasonable prices( Hampton, Holiday inn Express etc)

Virgin food has been awful since Covid, especially the cricket balls masquerading as a roll 😮, we have been having meal deals
