Florida Travel Day with a broken Virgin Atlantic plane! Manchester to Cabana Bay with a 4 year old.

It's the official start of a new series! If it's your first time here, welcome! We hope you enjoy. If you've watched our videos before, thanks for coming back for more Joey and Orlando madness!
If you didn't know we had another trip booked, well neither did we until two weeks before. A last minute trip after our LA trip for next year was scrapped. If you check out the above video, you'll know why!
After using Terminal 2 Meet & Greet for the first time, we leave Manchester Airport behind and head to Cabana Bay Beach Resort onsite at Universal for 14 nights of fun at Universal Orlando Resort.
We fly on a 6 month old Virgin Atlantic A350 and you'll get a glimpse of the seats, entertainment and food onboard before we touchdown at MCO and get an Uber to our hotel. Well, that is after we return to the gate for 2 hours because of a faulty plane!

Our trip is a five hour drive from Middle Georgia. I'll have to try jumping on the bed next time at the end of it. 😂 We love Cabana Bay. We book the Volcano Bay view. Typically we get one of the towers but were in Americana last trip. We had a good view were not too far from the bus. Great vlog!

Thank you! We stayed at the Ibis Hotels Birmingham Airport - We booked through Airparks and it was cheaper to get the hotel and airport parking compared to just the airport parking on its own which is the reason we did it! It was small, but more than enough for a short night stay before a morning flight. Walking distance to the terminal too.

My little boy will be just over 3 when we go to Florida and also his first time to Florida! How is it for a toddler? I’m super nervous about travel day with my little boy even though it’s not until the end of January 2025 😅

At the risk of treating it like everyone’s the same and a blanket statement, it’s fine! Just break the flight up into sections eg they can’t have all their toys, iPads, plane tv, colouring, snacks etc at once. Make the most of one before moving onto the other. We make our son have a nap on flights too even though he doesn’t have them normally. Helps with the time zones, helps his boredom and helps us have an hour less to try and occupy him! This most recent trip we had no issues at all - he just watched films on the tv a lot of the time. (He’s now 4). Just make sure you bring your own headphones as the plane ones are likely to be too big! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Kennedy space Center not station..otherwise great video You should go to the Kennedy Space Center plenty to do for all ages and very educational...might even get to see a launch!

Hi we’re considering flying from Manchester on our next trip (it’s usually Glasgow) and we’d be taking the train directly to the airport and I just wondered if you knew what the closest hotel is to the airport ? How big is that boy of yours - hope he had a fabulous time 👌🌟

Sorry its taken us a while to reply! There are quite a few near the airport that have transfers. The only one we've stayed at is the Radisson Blu which is superb, but can be a little pricey at times. Thanks for checking out our vlogs!
