You know, police officers are people too. And unless you do something to threaten their lives or safety while you are interacting with them, they will probably treat you professionally with dignity and courtesy; and in some situations, they may even treat you with concern and compassion. Are some police officers rude and arrogant? Sure, but people like that are everywhere. Don't forget, you have bad days too, and sometimes it outwardly shows. Cut these officers a little slack, because you like it when others do it for you. At the end of the day, we need these people and the services they provide. And if you can't find it within yourself to appreciate these people, and their service to your community, at least treat them civilly when you do interact with them.

There’s enough provided in this video to make a very reasonable assumption that she was legally impaired while driving. The breathalyzer results are at the very end of the video. @@William1221-q1e 90% of people are either incapable or not willing to follow orders. People are as hard headed as those making the comments here, probably including me :) That's not really against the law anywhere. Everyone likes the word please , no one likes orders. I could give my wife an order and see what happens, I might have to ask you to let me move in with you. It's not a surprise that orders are hard to follow. As for the tests, stand on one foot in the dark right after someone sticks a strong flash light in your face and see if you can look at your toes and start counting. Small wiggle, maybe even having to put the foot dawn for a sec, would it prove that you're wasted or would it show that you don't ever do balance exercises at home? Most sober people wouldn't do a perfect job at that. By the way, to keep a good balance your head and eyes should be up and level looking into the distance. That is why they ask you to look down at your toes, that makes the test a lot harder.Which is fine. If you fall over doing that you're obviously messed up. Again, she did better than some sober people in that test. That's just what I think. We're talking, I'm not here to argue. She was not drunk according to the end results of the investigation at the end of the video.

I dont even understand the stupidity I just watched. Usually I'm shaking my head at how poorly the officers conduct themselves but this lady was pretty much begging to be cuffed and stuffed. What did she think was going to happen? Did she forget she actually WAS intoxicated when she insisted on that smug fucking smile and condescending tone the entire time. How is it even possible that people like her are in positions of power and wealth? Over and over and over. It's not a cocky attitude dear, its a cocky personality and mindset. She's not wrong about the balance tests being hard for sober people in poor health, and she's a drunk person with excellent core strength and posture. So yes, she can do them. HOWEVER, I'm certain what they're REALLY testing is how well the person is able to shut up and listen to the instructions. You know, like a sober person can.

I see where you're coming from but I think there are major misunderstandings about what FST are actually looking for. People seem to think they are a physical test when the physical side of things is only half of it. For example, one of the listed clues for the 'walk the line' test is if the participant starts early, which she clearly did. The test isnt just looking at balance, its look at ability to focus, follow instructions, concentrate on multiple things at once, etc. According to the "scientifically" set out criteria of thesr tests she did display multiple indicators of possibly being under the influence (I say scientifically because these the effectiveness of these tests are highly debated). Even outside the tests, she was displaying multiple signs of failing to comprehend information e.g. she says 'I passed the tests' about 4 billion times even after the officer explains to her multiple times that it is not a pass/fail test.
