You should visit Coral Castle someday if you're in Homestead,it's amazing how this little one guy singlehandedly built his castle built of Coral right after Homestead was built in the early 1900's.

A Miami native would pronounce it like this: 1) Alla sounds like the Talla in Tallahassee. 2) Pattah sounds like how an Italian character says, "matta" in "Whats a matta you?" So think Talla-matta to say Allapattah.

I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, I came to the United States when I was 25 years old, but not all Dominicans speak like that with slang or bad language/ accent, that accent you're referring to is “barrial” it's street language. “Lo’ tiguere que hablan así”, bueno tu los imitas muy bien a los dominicanos jajaja
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Жыл бұрын
😅😅😅 oh pero que lo que asi hablan todos los dominicanos que yo conosco ahora no me vengas a decir que todos mis amigos dominicanos son tigres que hacen su diligencia vacana 😅😅😅

Allapattah means Alligator in the Seminole Indian Language,look it up.

So.. we must now find a seminole to get this right 😊 thanks

So if the original word is simply simular to “alligator” than the way i say it might actually be correct? Allapattah how i say it closely resembles the english alligator.. interesting

C'mon Katie, keep considering moving to Miami. They should have Florida grown POTATOES at the farmers markets, lol! Farther drives to the beaches, but Jose could make videos on the way as always! Hopefully continued funny ones.

Take a look at Allapattah today and appreciate what it is... today. Take pictures to show people in the future what it used to be like. In 20 years it will be completely gone. It will be full of tasteless Caucasians living in $3500/mo lofts.
