I did a lot of home repair work in that part of Dallas, the majority of those expensive homes that house the "who's who's" are in Highland Park and University Park which are their own cities within Dallas; story goes the rich people wanted their own so Dallas let them "buy" their own, they even have their own police force plus SMU ( Southern Methodist University) is in one of these cities. Very nice area but don't hang around for too long, their police don't mess around.

My final thought, give me 19:15. Looked like a big secluded lot and a large garage.

I miss Dallas and the brick houses and the land, you can’t find that here in GA. You should’ve went to parts of Plano and Frisco where a lot of Cowboys live, that’s where the homes are. Oh the style is called Tudor and Modern cottage. 😀

I last been to Texas in 2003 and stayed at a comfort inn in Katy and this guy came out of the lobby with a snake curling around his wrist

104 degrees - welcome to Texas!! It's kinda nice down here in Corpus Christi as our heat index is actually under 100 for the first time in three weeks. Hey I wish you guys would somehow post where you're going ahead of time so we could tell y'all where to go. For instance I really wouldn't have recommended that area around White Rock Lake. Some of the neighborhoods over there are nice and I know they have their own 'flavor' but they don't really have the history. None of those houses were built before the mid 1980s. I used to go cycling around White Rock Lake and all there was out there was a great park and man made lake and cow pastures and unused farm land. I don't know where else y'all checked out and these neighborhoods are really nice. It seems like these houses have more character than those McMansions over by Turtle Creek but I could tell you where to go to see very historic old money Dallas area neighborhoods that I think y'all would enjoy and so would your viewers I've lived in DFW area, San Antonio (Alamo Heights), Austin (Westlake, UT dorm, West Campus and Hyde Park ( and I know a lot about Victoria, Texas Coastal Bend and the Border cities in both sides of the Frontera to the east of I-35.

Nice neighborhoods, but allegedly the water isn't good for drinking like in Mexico.
