ouch!! seeing you toss out that A.C unit hurt. I always take them apart for all the goodies. you can at least triple your money on them with just a little work. plus that is part of the fun for me is the tare down on my scrap. it keeps this old man busy instead of just setting around getting older. yesterday was $317 and change day for me. but alot of it was horded back cords, compressors, motors and A.C.R's. love me some good paydays.

You made me think when said your side cutters where needing replace. I did electrical work for around 45 years plus. In all that time I never wore out side cutters or linemen plyers. When ever I would work in attics running wire, I would lose a pair of them ever now and then, when they would fall out of my tool belt. They would be covered with blown insulation. I would not even know where to look for them. I would always keep extra pairs on hand so I did not have run to buy new ones. I even lost a hammer that way once, and a tape measure or two. Now I have like 6 pairs of each and do not really use them much any more.
