I really enjoyed your videos. We made the decision to move to Florida also and were scheduled to move in our new apt June 3rd. We're moving from NC. We moved here from WV a year ago. NC just doesn't feel like home to us and I've wanted to move to Florida my whole life. We have 3 boys and our children are very excited to move! We'll be staying in Sanford until we buy a house sometime next year. You guys have given me alot of advice and helpful tips to prepare for our move as well as reassurance that it's the right decision for us! Thank you!!!

I live in Warrensburg Mo.I just went to Florida for Christmas 2019 I didn’t want to come back I’m deciding on saving up money and moving to Florida to .The weather is amazing there I hate Missouri I’ve hated Missouri the first week I moved there .Ive wasted 20 yrs here . We love Orlando but we were told to come back during summer and see if still love it which we are planning too do August! We both work for USPS and our jobs are transferable. We learn a lot from you! Awesome video guys. I have been visiting the Tampa/Clearwater area my whole life and I’ve seen the traffic become crazy there. 19 and the causeway were always a shit show, but the traffic congestion in general has definitely blown up. Too many people moving in I guess. I appreciate your honest and positive viewpoint. It’s inspiring for us for our move. Thanks.

Every time I go down I say, some day I will live here. I love Fla. Only thing stopping me is hurricanes. That worries me. I was in Dunedin & Palm Harbor last yr. Palm Harbor is a busy place.

The thing that I always say about hurricanes, is that you know when they are coming. We are usually given at least a few days notice to prepare... or evacuate if necessary. Thanks for stopping by! 😁

Did your kids have to get a physical from a Florida doctor before you register your kids for school?? And you are so right I’m always on the phone with the schools and the school board to see what the schools are rated.. my daughter gets bullied often because she is different and marches to her own drum. So I’m thinking a charter school will be better for her

You don't have to pay those utility deposits if you have good credit. You just need to ask them about it, they won't necessarily offer that up.

You just mentioned that after enrolling your kids at the first public school both of you decided to move them to a different school afterwards, how is that accomplished, what is the process? If our kids just started at the initial school, can we transfer them midstream? As always, your advice is appreciated and invaluable. 👍

Very interesting. Our son went through a lot of what you are saying as they moved to Riverview near Tampa. He works at the airport. She works at Tampa General Hosp. What you are saying about the traffic couldn't be more precise. Sometimes via I-75, it takes him over an hour to get to work. Depends on the time of day. But coming from Ohio, they love it. And we do too as we have been there several times since they moved down. We are retired and trying to get things together to move as well. I know for sure it wont be where they are, as its too congested with so many new developments going up like theirs. But I am sure that is not the only area congested. All I know is we need to get out of Ohio and move. By the way, I can hear a Canadian accent there. Like aboat vs about lol. Love it

Hi in this video you mention charter and magnet schools. Can I just walk into one of those schools and register my child into it? Because here in philly, we have to apply like a year prior and hope that our child gets their name picked in the lottery and accepted. Also what about school buses?

Hi! Thanks for the video. Can you tell us a little more about the schools? Is it easy to get into a charter school. Here in NJ you have to live in a district that “needs improvement” ie has low test scores. We are going to FL at the end of this month to look at builders and areas. I worry a lot about the schools. We live in a decent school district here.

Depends a lot on the area. Some areas could be as low as $600 to $700. Other areas in Florida the price for a one bedroom apartment could be as much as almost 2000
