Full Hotel Tour & Review of The Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA

My Hotel Tour of this AMAZING and FAMOUS Hotel is NOW LIVE ON KZbin!!!!! My stay here was GREAT!!!! (Much better than 2011) The renovations were really needed, and they did a great job renovating this Magnificent Property!!! There is a REASON why Marriott is my FAVORITE Hotel Company!!!! The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfy, the service was great, just like ANY Marriott. Plus the AMAZING Atrium designed by John Portman along with Very friendly staff and the rooms were SPOTLESS. Opening in March 1985, this hotel is currently the 15th Tallest Building in Atlanta, and is just one of John Portman's many masterpieces, and this hotel features the TALLEST ATRIUM In the US. We paid $250 a night to stay here plus valet parking which was $20 a night, and this place is so worth the money you spend staying here. If you guys ever come to Atlanta, I'd Highly Recommend Staying in the Magnificent Marriott Marquis!!!!! My tripadvisor review was featured in this video so be sure to check it out if you'd like!!!! Those rooms sure have been renovated since I stayed there. When i stayed there the room looked EXACTLY like the days inn princeton before its renovation.

I stayed here back in June 2015, just days after my 10th birthday. I took my first and final rides of this AWESOME Otis Elevonic 401 elevator system before they have been modernized with Series M2. My room was 4630 (presidential suite) on the 46th floor on the 42-47 high rise elevator bank. I saw cars 4 for 1-17 and 11 for 18-30 already modernized while cars 3 for 1-17 and 10 for 18-30 (glass) and 14 for 42-47 and 15 for 31-41 (internal) were out of service for modernization. I also saw a couple of floors covered in black for renovation. Those elevators were fun to ride. It was an AWESOME hotel.

This month I stayed here in this hotel for 3 nights. I stayed on the 41st floor. I spent the 4th night in Atlanta in the 73-story Westin on the 50th floor. So I spent 4 nights in Atlanta (March 6 thru 10, 2022). I live in New York.

Very nice elevators, and we all know and love these elevators. By the way, today marks 25 years since elevator photography in video format was born, and it's hard to imagine that a 15 year old from St. Louis visited Atlanta to film and photograph some unique elevators, which ultimately gave rise to this unique, and very fun hobby.

Also, the Pulse Loft elevator did not exist from 1985 until the 2007 renovation. It was installed in 2007.

It was a nice stay I was on 26th floor so I had to take 18 to 30 to get to my room and I did write a 42 through 47th floor and it was fun and I noticed the hotel room doors was actually tiny look a lot smaller than the others

Hey I stumbled on this video it brought so much nostalgia I’ve been here for a convention it was a week and I had a blast so many fucking crazy things man. All the people the pool were fun! I think I stayed in the Marriott but I might’ve stayed in th Hilton but you can use the skybridge to cross into the Marriott I and others in our group were there and the view was awesome!! I loved high velocity I met a cute waitress there she was so nice and very pretty, like I said it was a good time and the buffalo and blue electric was dope. Only thing is at night there were some straight up prostitutes trying to get business it was like legit crazy.
