Fellow Georgia girl here! I'm currently stitching Summer by Madame Chantilly and when I did the lighthouse I thought "I bet GA Girl Stitching would turn on the lights in this - so I smiled when I saw that you did! 😂 I remembered you mentioning leaving a light on in any houses you stitch. Such a good idea! All the finishes look great!

What a fun parade.. and I enjoyed that you showed your pieces chronologically; it's fun to see how skills improve. I had to smile when you talked about your first full coverage. When I started stitching after college, I did a small piece for a wedding gift for one of my cousins. My second ever piece was Teresa Wentzler's Castle Sampler.. I had no idea that I should have been intimidated by evenweave fabric, blended threads or stitching over 1.. I just followed the directions in the kit I purchased from an ad in a magazine; there were no needlework shops in my area. Merry Christmas and wishing you and David a new year full of blessings! 🪡👠

I love the “Summer” piece! Why not attach it to a piece of sanded washed up beach plank. We live abt 3 blocks from the beach & some beautiful wood washes up from time to time❤️

You can easily wash cross stitch if you used DMC. DMC is colorfast. Jean Farrish explains how to wash on one of her floss tubes. I’ve always washed my pieces (40+ years of stitching). Love your channel and your enthusiasm!
