Megan, I can't tell you how excited I am for the lighthouse! I'm not done with Beach Quaker yet, but I just purchased the Lighthouse. Some ideas for the nautical quakers- sand dollar, flipflop, gull, the boat wheel, a beach chair. Congratulations on your match and move! Another great video : )

OMG! I have tears within the first two minutes of your video, because 37 years ago my husband matched at VCU! I loved Richmond and didn't want to leave. I know things have changed a lot. There is so much history--hope you can find time to visit a lot of spots, There is a fabulous cross stitch store --I think in Midlothian. I'm excited for you. Congrats.

@@georgiagirlstitching Pediatrics! My daughter, Lauren, was born there in 1989 and the nurses were so nice because they loved my husband, Eric. He was taught to be nice to nurses (his mom was a nurse). I hope your experience is fabulous. It is hard work.

I was curious what floss colors you used for Isla's memorial. I had purchased the original Paw Print pattern but got this one because we too lost a very special dog in October of 2020. I received the 32 count platinum fabric now just waiting on the floss colors. Really liked how yours looked. We got a new puppy but it's never the same. I still miss Daisy very much but my husband was right each one is special in their own way. We got clay Paw prints too. We lost Daisy in October of 2020 and got Bailey December 27, 2021 and she already has her own nicknames too. LOL

I am so sorry for your loss and am honored that you're using my pattern to remember her! Kaia will never replace Isla of course but she is very special in her way! I used 598, 597, 3810 for the blues and 321 for the red heart. Let me know if I can help anymore with it!

My store here in Plainwell Michigan had a retreat and Accoutrement had a trunk show and I snatched it up.😁 When you have time I would like to know how you changed the colors of the Shores of Hawk Run. I know you made a lot of changes. I also like the squares you do and would eliminate the boxes you did. I think you used Color and Cotton. Funny how the same threads are called other names. No rush on this I have TONS of projects.

I wanted to start Winter Rose Manor, but when I opened the booklet it was that shiny paper and printed in color…not highlighter friendly. No access to a copier at the moment so no working copies. So the wheels turning, I opened the pdf app I use….its called xodo. It’s no pk, you can’t sort colors or symbols…but it’s free. I use my stylus to draw lines through the rows I’ve stitched. There’s also an eraser function. So all that to say, I wanted to see if I could do that on a screenshot or a picture. And yes! There’s actually a “scanner” function where you can take pictures with your iPad, crop,and then it saves the whole batch to one file you can scroll through and mark just like a regular pdf. Just don’t sign up for the free trial of the paid version, the free version is plenty. Hope this helps!
