I think your plan of identifying goals for shorter periods of time is a good one. Your progress on the Book Nook is great. It’s funny how sometimes 1000 stitches looks like a lot and other times it looks like much less. Your planner looks like a fun thing to use. I plan to stick with a paper planner for this year to see whether I can adjust to using a planner regularly. I am usually only good for a couple of weeks at a time. 😟

Metal dpns are great and if you can't find what you want at Northwest Yarns you can always try Apple Yarns or Spincycle Yarns brick and morter shop next to Henderson books. Apple Yarns used to be on Iowa st next to Cascade Natural Gas but the last time I checked the website they moved. Love your videos and enjoy your knitting

I'm also stitching Drinks on the Beach for the 2025 HAED SAL! My goal is also the 6 pages and it will be my exclusive project until I get those done - I think I may not ever stitch the bottom partial row of pages on that chart.

I'm doing Descants in the HAED SAL, but really I'm chuffed that we hit 2'000 people so we get both the baby dragon and the hummingbirds.

I can recommend knit pro zing dpns. It's what I use for socks. Not too slippy, but not super grippy either. I can't wait to get back to my cozy winter book nook, it's such a great pattern❤

Does pattern keeper not let you see a preview of the stitches so you can see what you’re stitching? If you have an Apple device, recommend just trying markup XP because it has that feature and others that make it worth it 😊
