I enjoyed the book section. I’ve been watching Book Tube videos and it has ignited my desire to read again. I used to be an avid reader and then you tube took over my life. Great stitching as always.

I am trying to read more this year as well, I've tried and just don't enjoy audibles. I never thought of adding it during my soak time! I do usually read while my husband watches something right before bed. I can tune anything out if the book is good enough lol. I love the wip talk, book talk, Buster talk, nail talk, plant talk, and shopping talk. Pretty much all the talk. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us.

As always, loved your stitching….but I loved the book talk too! Talk about what you love. I don’t paint my nails, but still enjoyed you talking about nail polish. I’ve never seen polish like that! ❤

Congratulations on Ann Roberts. Loved that you put your name on it. I worked on my Enchanted while watching you. Loved seeing your focus pieces for 2025. I want to start Caroline Amelia Trowelll. I also want to get back to Floral Motif Sampler. Jim bought such thoughtful gifts. Comfort stitching is definitely the main menu item n 2025 💚

Beautiful finish! Can't wait to hear how you like the Mooncat polish. It's all I wear. The thermals are a lot of fun. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend Weyward by Emilia Hart. My favorite read of 2024. Not a creepy thriller, but very moody ... and the cover art is fantastic.

Beautiful finish on Ann Roberts! It's so fun to see her done. I have Jane Harth on my start list as well - just bought the 100.3 silks and cannot wait to finally get to her. Enjoy the snow! I'm in Syracuse and we've had some nice lake effect for the past 2 days. It's not fun to drive in but oh so cozy. I recently finished reading Weyward, by Emilia Hart and it was such a beautiful book. I highly recommend it. I just started Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver and am really into it so far. Happy New Year!

Your finish is gorgeous! I enjoyed your video, I like that you keep it real. Your honey bought you some nice treasures to stitch and your stash, that’s always wonderful! I enjoy that you like to read and that you shared what your reading I love to read as well and like to be inspired by books that I wouldn’t normally gravitate to, because well we sometimes pick the same types. So thank you for sharing! Enjoy your snow day, stay warm and cozy!

Super video! Your projects are stunning. I’m starting We Used to Live Here today. We seem to share the same taste in books. I HIGHLY recommend these 2 authors: Tananarive Due and Simone St. James. Especially The Good House & The Reformatory by TD and The Sundown Motel & The Broken Girls by SSJ. Happy stitching and reading!

Firstly, Jim buying you threads is the most romantic thing I’ve heard of in a while! He’s a keeper! You got me all excited to talk about books! I LOVED The God Of the Woods, especially for that summer camp vibe. And Grady Hendrix has become an author I will buy without even reading the cover. How to Sell a Haunted House was excellent, not just for the (creepy!) story, but he just got the brother/sister, complicated family dynamic SO perfectly. The pain, love, misunderstandings, old hurt feelings. It was so real. He has a short story called “Ankle Snatcher” that still has me creeped out about it every night for the last 6 months! If you like good horror like that, have you read T. Kingfisher? She’s my new favorite author. What Moves the Dead is a retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher, and I honestly think Poe himself would be thrilled with her retelling. It was amazing. I added We Used to Live Here to my “must read soon!” list. Thanks for the rec. Happy New Year Emily!

I always love spending time watching your videos! I am excited you have been enjoying reading again. Hidden pictures was a fantastic read, and I always enjoy Riley Sager. Grady Hendricks is always fun to read. I have been enjoying Jeneva Rose these days. I suggest her if you like thrillers. My first read from her was You shouldn't have come here. I was hooked! Hugs from northeast Tennessess❤

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who found God of the Woods hard to put down! Have you read anything by Charlie Donlea?
