Thank you so much. Painting for me is relaxing at first. Once I really start getting into the details of the painting I start getting nervous it won't come together even though it usually does. Doesn't matter how many I've painted I still worry it's not going to work out.

My husband came across the pledge of allegiance and asked if I'd do it so he can hang it on his grandfather memorial wall. I couldn't turn down buying more things or doing piece that would mean a lot to my husband. His grandfather was his male role model growing up and was an amazing man.

I'm currently in remission, for about a year now. After the surgeries and a small round of chemo I was cancer free.

I lost them one to many times. So got those badge holders that have the retractable string so they pull out and go back up with just letting go of them. I never have to search.

Question: Does the fabric come with those red grid lines or do you draw them? And, what draws you to the patterns you pick, like the full coverage? BTW: I'm a paper crafter too. I'll do flat cards but my absolute obsession is pop ups and paper piecing. Can't wait for your next KZbin ❤

Thank you. It's taken a years to be able to paint like that. The fabric doesn't come like that I put on a red water soluble pen. So when I wash the piece it comes off. I don't really have anything particular that draws me. Just I think it's beautiful and I want to stitch it, or I can see somewhere in my home I would hang it.

You did great for your first!! Usually what draws people in to stay is hearing about all the things, so it’s not a drawback to talk. Also, the sound effects are great!…I actually use a few myself from time to time 😉 Excited to see you again.

It's not a bad stitch, just pay attention to the half stitches. I did all the half stitches first so I didn't mess up

It's the light bar for the lowery. There's different attachments you can put on the light bar

Hi Brittany..great first flosstube! Loved seeing all your ambitious projects. My jaw literally dropped when you showed the first one. Oh my! I’m going to start my first (small lol) full coverage stitch soon. Just waiting on my gridded fabric. It looks like you grid your own. I tried that and it took me forever lol Any tips? So very thankful that you are cancer-free ❤️ Christmas and Easter are my favorite, as well, though I do enjoy Thanksgiving. Please continue to show us your projects. Suzette

Gridding takes a long time. Unfortunately, I have no tips there. I think it's worth it once it's done though, which is why I continue to do it. Other wise I make a lot of mistakes.

@Suzette Youngblood I have and I hated it because the way its grided is different than how I grid my fabric. For example pre-grided is done along a thread versus I do it between threads. So it confused me to much.

I have been in remission now for 1year. The testing they have to do is crazy every year. 😜 it made me slow down a lot. I'll have to do a stitch with me and explain how we ended up with both dogs and why we got them. We looked for years to find the right fit for our family. A lot of research went into dog breeds and the amount of care they would need. My best friend is a dog trainer and groomer so I had a lot of help finding which would be best.
