I got a stand up magnifying light and one of my diamond paintings friends so got back into it. I have several of those on Instagram. I'm into Sarah Richter stuff

@@lorlorstitches3774 I work in Urgent Care right now. I am getting ready to work in Endocrinology in the nursing home once I’m credentialed. My mom used to cross stitch and I said I never would do it. She’s been gone 23 years. Last year I needed something to do to help with stress. I bought a pre-printed cross stitch off Amazon. I worked on it for a few months and decided that I should just try a counter cross stitch pattern. I picked up a Halloween one by Primrose Cottage. That was the first one I’ve ever done. I have now completed 3 other Primrose Cottage patterns and have 2 more that I’ve started. I am also working on a Kathy Barrick one called Winter Moth. I have so many that I want to start but want to get a little further with my progress on the 3 that I’ve started. I agree with having no energy when I get home from work. I think it’s the talking so much to our patients that does me in.

It's so good to see you stitching again since I know you were immersed in school for years. You have a lot of great projects you're working on! I'm sorry about the losses you've had in your family in recent years. We've had some losses in Jeff's family recently and his grandfather is at home on hospice with congenital heart failure, which is why I just can't get to do a FT right now. AND I can't believe you talking about your boys being grown and expecting a grandbaby! What?!! Congratulations! Okay, I'll wind this up. Happy stitching ❤️

I started in 2018 stitching and thinking that I would be a monogamous stitcher. I look back at that stitcher now and think... poor dear had no idea what was coming 😅🤣.

Hey Midwestern neighbor! Minnesota gal here!!! LOL just dug out of that last 12" of snow we had...well, the hubby did lol I'm more homebound than not. At 56, it is a Thank you and your hubby for your service to our country, its appreciated! My hubby is in the pipetrades an HVAC/AC guy. Until I couldnt work, I trained & worked as a Pharmacy Technician, then I was an Administrative Assistant, then homeboundish. Our kids are 34 & 31, and 2 grandkids are 8 and almost 2, and 4 fur babies are a Brittney Spaniel, a Borador & 2 cats, both indoor. Your projects are like mine, very ambitious!!! But you do gorgeous work!! I subscribed!! Can't wait to see what you do next!

I Lori. Your video popped up on my feed, so thought I'd have a look. Glad I did. You have some beautiful WIPS and a couple that we share. I am also stitching Rose Lights, though she hasn't been touched in quite some time. My favorite things to stitch are the fancy ladies, fairies, mermaids - that kind of think, but I do also stitch other pieces as well. I don't have a FT but I am over on IG. To answer your questions about continuing or not - for the fantasy bears, if you really aren't thrilled can you perhaps separate them and treat them as smalls for decorations in your grandchild to be's bedroom? For the lady whose dress is so close to the fabric - I think I'd have to try to outline her dress for sure, Perhaps in a darker shade of the dress colors? And I can't remember the other one. Oh well! I'll be watching for your next video - great job on your first (or 13th) attempt! :) Steph

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking the same about the bears! We found out the baby is a girl, so I will do my best to turn her into a fantasy loving nerd! The other was the weeping violets which is the fabric I hate. I think switching the fabric will help with that one! I’ve set them all aside currently. I have enough to keep me busy! 😂

On the fairy that you feel is blending into the fabric…you mentioned possible outline…what about highlight (outline) w/colors a shade or 2 darker than what’s in her dress for it to stand out a bit more and be seen.

GOLDEN RETRIEVERS RULE!!! Have had 3 over the last 30 years. Would love to hear if you have tips about owning mor than one at a time. Our current “Cuda” is 2 years old this month and we think he is desperate for a friend. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

They’re so easy! Owning more than one is great! They keep each other busy! Loki and Lylah were our breeding pair, but we just spayed Lylah. Loved all the puppies! We’re trying to determine if we want to do a round with Willow and Indy.
