Hi Michelle! Love that you have started doing EPP! It is a great travel project - easier to do on bumpy roads than cross stitch. I use Wonderfil Deco-Bob 80 wt thread to do my EPP. Put the hexies right sides together and whip stitch them just taking a small bite of the fabric. You can’t see my stitches from the front. I use a light grey on all colors or you can match the thread color. I’d love a stocking video - from start to finish! I love how you’ve “married” the two patterns into one!

Oh my, so much stitching inspiration in this video. Your framed pieces are gorgeous!!! I would love a stocking video and every time you show yours I just fall in love with them. I am an over the road truck driver with my husband and if your truck has a sleeper on it it makes the best stitchy spot. So when I go off duty driving I get in the sleeper and stitch and watch floss tube. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing 😊

Happy Birthday!! I love your stockings and would enjoy a video when you have them all together. I thought I was the only one like that with baby names lol. Our daughter was due in December, we took Christmas gifts home at Thanksgiving since we wouldn't be back for Christmas. I signed them with our names but not her name. So many thought that was odd. I would be the same with a stocking or anything like that. I love seeing your stitching and the framed piece is gorgeous! The plaid is perfect, I may have to look into that next. I wish we had your rain!!! In Portland Oregon we typically have a dry summer (about 1-3% humidity) with a few very rainy days thrown in (and by a few, in three months we might have 3 -4 rainstorms). This summer we have had no rain storms during the month of July and June only had about 2 rainy days, but we have been at 60% humidity and 80-95 degrees and I am dying! I really want our rainy season!!! Dogs are so funny-they want what they think they want until they get it! 😂

I love my BenQ! I was given one to review and did a review many episodes ago, but honestly, I would buy one myself if this one ever stopped working! I originally was gifted the table top one, I bought the kit to make it a floor lamp because I loved it so much! It had a nice wide range to the light field!

You are hilarious and I just love watching you and seeing what you are stitching. I am in awe how you continued to film and talk to us as if there was no thunder at all. Very nice Customized piece combining designs & friends stitching on it eventually. Cute Hexies. WDW straw to me has more of a golden color to it, yet I think the newer version is more brown. Oh, that IS a hard one to say, Scuppernong is a neat color of WDW fancy floss too, the word is a type of grape. Those Ginghams are very cool. Hand drawn chart can be tough to read, but you can do it.

Just an over one stitching tip to help your stitches not slip. If you are stitching on a vertical thread, when you move to stitch the second leg of the stitch you go to the hole that is left or right from where you ended the first leg. So you go across the vertical thread. If you are stitching on a horizontal thread you move up or down so you cross that horizontal thread. Because that second stitch is moving opposite of the fabric thread your stitch won't slip.

I stitched One Nation two years ago and my friend made it into a wall hanging for me. One of my most loved projects. I also stitched that baby sampler, How Wonderful, for two of my grandchildren, a boy and a girl. It was perfect for both, though the granddaughter got the buttons. I’d love to see a stocking video after they are fully finished.
