I adore the Canadian sampler finish and that was such a wonderful idea having your husband put in the final stitches. If we had such a beautifully designed USA sampler I would do it. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 so far I have not experienced a recurrence. It’s always our fear that it could happen. I’m so happy to hear that your surgery was successful. I want you to be healthy and happy and not impacted by this horrible disease. Love you take care!

It was an absolute incredible pleasure to meet you at the retreat and hopefully I will be able to attend again. I had to show my husband your haul from the retreat because he couldn’t believe there are others that could buy as much as I did😂😂. My one goal was to get fabric and boy did I you are absolutely right in saying Charlene’s fabrics are fantastic. I came home with so so many treasures from all the vendors scissors, patterns, a few project bag. I could go on and on because I had such a great time but yes a highlight was Jeanette’s class for sure. Thank you again. So wonderful seeing you again. Congrats on your successful surgery. I'm so happy to see your finished Canadian sampler. It is beautiful. A few years ago I stitched the O Canada Kooler sampler. I grew up in Calgary but have lived in southern California most of of my 50 years of marriage. I am a breast cancer survivor of 23 years, so many of my stitching and other crafty friends are also survivors. Thank goodness for the advances in care and treatment since my bout. Love the see all your wips and haul. I also have all of Jeannette's small Canadian samplings. That is a lovely bag!

Your Canada finish is beautiful and it was so sweet that Paulo took the last few stitches. Love all your Blackbird acquisitions! I live here in Alberta as well so Traditional Stitches and 123 Stitch are kind of my go to for supplies. I was away from cross stitch for about 20 years when raising my family and when I found a floss tube about 3 years ago I discovered that cross stitch was a whole new world now! Blackbird is my favourite designer so once I discovered the new world of cross stitch I started collecting their charts. I have also started the practise of getting all of the floss for each new Blackbird book that comes out. Sometimes I have some of them and just order the rest and then have a separate floss ring for each book. It works really well for when I get the urge to start a BB chart. See you next video. 😊🇨🇦

I am so glad that your surgery went well. What a blessing to have friends who helped with meal time. I had surgery before and a few people took upon themselves to deliver food to my house for a good 2 to 3 days. It was truly a blessing as the first 2 days post surgery were rough. I make sure to pass the same blessing to others now. You got so much stitching done while recovering! You are one strong woman! I love all of your projects. The bags you got are all really nice. I need at least a couple for some coming projects. I need to take a look at what bags she has available.
