Slubs are a pain yes! But you can remove them! I’d say prior to stitching though 😊 Some linen dyers remove slubs before they dye. I believe Mason Linens are one of those dyers.

I LOVED seeing you acheive your 2024 goal! Very impressive and beautiful finishes! I love no goal 2025. I am always no goal. The minute I tell myself I “have” to stitch something, I don’t want to. 😂. So I just grab what’s calling me. That being said, I do have a wedding sampler and a ring bearer’s pillow that I need to finish by June as my daughter is getting married. I am also a quiltmaker and got behind on a QAL! So what! So, stitch and be happy. I will stitch keep track of what I am stitching on. I am like you, I don’t make plans, I stitch what I want to stitch when I want to stitch it. I’ve tried making plans. I tried doing WIPGO. That definitely didn’t work. When a number came up I looked to see what it was and said I don’t feel like working on that. So I do what I want. Your finishes are beautiful. I love the idea of cross-stitch planners, but per your comments, I don't want to be tied to any plans. I stitch to relax and stitch what I want, when I want. To have plans, would stress me out. Hope you have/had a Merry Christmas.

Congrats on being so close to your 24 in 24. My only plans for 25 is to complete Kathy Barrick sampler and do the 5 hands on Folks. The Christmas is my Christmas day start. And I'm planning on doing 12 whips on new years not 12 starts. That's as far as my plans are if I get the 5 folks and Ks sampler done I'll feel accomplished

Then I realized with no plans what do I need to add. I'm still trying to figure out what my word for the year will be. My word for 2024 was completion. So far nothing for 2025. I totally agree with you regarding the plans. To quote you "If I feel like stitching it I will, if I don't feel like it, then I won't" I feel like we put too much pressure on ourselves for a fun hobby based on what others are doing.
