Thanks Lisa. I know I should be happy with my progress but I don't know how to keep up with my trend of a FC finish every year if I can't get the page finishes done to make that easier to do.

Good to see you again Kim.😀 Glad you were able to take some time off for your girls birthdays, family is so important 😀. I love blueberries too🤪. That commission piece took up a lot of your time and you can't put a price on that. Glad they were happy with it. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧

Enjoyed your update. The birth sampler is very nice, and I can appreciate the frustration with the chart’s center line misplacement, but finished and loved is a great reward. You’re right, that colorful Spangler Sundae does make me want some ice cream 😂. Love the colors of the Old Flannel Shirt Carolyn Manning piece, and the stitching looks beautiful. Sounds like you and the girls enjoyed their birthday celebration. It’s great to have those memories. Your job seems to be challenging but enjoyable for you. It’s great to see you smiling and looking great. Look forward to your next episode.

Hi Kim. Always good to see a video from you. That commision piece is so cute. I love the colours. Shame about the centering. Would have been frustrating. 7 no stitchy days but you still got a lot of progress. Loving the Spangler piece. Your company are lucky they have you. Your definately a go getter. Im sure all the changes would be going a lot smoother than if you werent there. Happy stitching and happy birthday to your girls. Im a July girl also.🪡🧵🎁🎁

Hi Kim I want to apologize because I have been so behind in flosstube. July was a busy month I had surgery done on July 12th and everything went well. I had no pain. I was watching your May, June, and July videos. You have been a very busy lady between work and kids and animals and cross stitching. I love the progress you are making on your cross stitching it is stunning and beautiful. I'm glad your surgery went well and that you are doing better. I will say a prayer for you and your family and pets. You are such an inspiration to me Kim and I always enjoy watching your videos. Just a little caught up

We were in Frankenmuth in August. Such a fun little place to poke around. If you didn't see the Celtic shop, they had tons of cool UK stuff. I found doctor who things for my dad and Scottish heritage things for my mom. Plus the cheese haus! Didn't go for the chocolate cheese. 😂

Great progress on your pieces -- I really like how the commissioned piece turned out. Sounds like you had a great couple of weeks celebrating the girls! I went to Tawas last week ... I love that town! I can't believe how fast this summer has flown by. My husband is starting professional development sessions this week and starts with kids next Wednesday. Now I want ice cream -- who am I kidding -- I always want ice cream. I can almost guarantee my son will say we should go after dinner ... we should NOT. Living less than a mile from an ice cream shop is not a good thing, LOL.

The summer has definitely gone fast. I'm already seeing some trees changing color and it's August! My girls start school on the 28th...my oldest is going into 6th grade & she's joining the band, playing flute! :-D If you walk to the ice cream store, that negates the calories right? Lol.

Lost communication as I was saying just a little caught up I went to Shepards bush on my Birthday (July 27th I turned 71 years old) and bought material, floss, beads, and patterns. I bought Patriot gnome, and autumn gnome by Les Petites Croix de Lucie, Seaside tiny town by Heart in hand, Polar bear Peek and Whale hello there by Hands on design, I would rather bee stitching by Primrose cottage, List it grow by Autumn lane, and Remember me by Teresa Kogut. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat

Kim! Great to see you as always. I’ve said it before but you are looking so good these days. Congratulations on all those blueberries 🫐. Do you know the children’s book “Blueberries for Sal”? Somehow most of Sal’s blueberries end up in her mouth, not the pail 😅 I hope you get an assistant manager so you can start working “only” nine hour days 😂😂😂 How about a September reset for your goals? Back to school is a good moment to reassess.
@msufly Жыл бұрын
Thanks Judith! I haven't heard of that book but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't testing out the berries as I was picking them. Lol. Doing a goal reset is a good idea...I'll think about it.

Congrats on your finishes of both your commission piece and the page finish. May I ask how you calculate the price for a commission piece? Someone asked me to stitch a piece for her. I said I would think about it and that is just while I don’t know what is a fair amount of money to ask for it.
@msufly Жыл бұрын
I consider how much materials cost and how many stitches that I averaged in an hour. I didn't count the hour of redoing the name when it was off center. I ended up charging what equated to $10/hour.
@kittyvanpeer9382 Жыл бұрын
@@msufly Think that is a good price for it. We have an expensive hobby and it takes a lot of time too to finish our pieces. Thanks for answering.
