Definitely get the 100/3 one spool. I started AnnGrimshaw in silk black last week of Black Sampler Nov. Also fathom is a great blue using in GH 1857 Blue roof house and creams sampler. Happy Stitching

I think that the Grimshaw sampler would look lovely in the very dark navy. P.S. Over 30 years ago now my family and I visited then friends in Cullingworth. Joyce was my pen friend from age 10. We don't keep in touch much now, but I have fond memories of our visit to Yorkshire -- including to York itself and the minster.

We thought my husband's family was from Scotland (Lye originally changed to Lyle) so I was going to do Agnes Lyle. Just did DNA test and that seems to indicate Irish roots, but still love tge Irish samplers!
