I only have 2 projects at a time going. More than that I would be overwhelmed. I love the witch bell pull.

I have never done any of those WIPGO, etc. systems. I am a seasonal stitcher, and have a couple of autumn and Christmas WIPS. Presently, I have a couple of patriotic WIPS; I refer to myself, as a seasonal monogamous stitcher. Happy Stitching, and enjoy your movies.

I have never done any of that kind of stitching. I am more of a monogamous stitcher and go at my own pace. I do have several pieces going at one time but they are in different places. I have a temperature chart I do in my computer room. the other is in my living room and I stitch when watching tv. I like to find shows that I can listen to when I'm stitching. If I don't I will have to frog. That's a given. LOL

This is my 2nd year doing WIPGO. It’s described above very good. I don’t get too technical with my projects I fill in. I don’t count stitches, I don’t say how many days or hours to work on them either. I just list the project. I rotate between the 2 called for that month and also work on other things in between. I have gotten so many finishes on things that have been wips. I really do enjoy it!

I don’t actually know how many WIPs I have-but that’s okay with me…it’s fun to come across one when I’m browsing through them all, get re-excited about it and start working on it again. (P.S. I’m glad you enjoyed my comment! 😊)

I kept hearing the term WIPGOs and wondered what it was! I usually only have a couple of projects going at a time so I don’t think that WIPGO is for me.
@craftycatstitcher66586 ай бұрын
I have 20 WIPs currently. I'm more of a "look through the WIP basket and choose a project that looks fun that day" rotation kind of stitcher. It is interesting to hear about other stitchers' methods!

Hi Shelly! Another fun video, your a natural in front of camera! No “games” with stitching for me as I am monogamous stitcher and do not want to be told what to do😂. The Primerose bell pulls are super cute.

I have been doing WIPGO for few years now. I enjoy seeing what gets called out on my board, but if I’m not interested in stitching a particular piece when it’s called, I have been known to manipulate my board (in Excel) with what I want to stitch. My favorite part is coloring my squares as the numbers get called out 🙃

I do WIPGO. This is my second year. I like it because it helps me get projects to a closer finish. It's a bingo card , that you set up yourself. Put #1-25 in any order and put in your projects that you want to work on. Two numbers are called a month and you work on that project in the numbered square.

Thanks for another fun video. I don’t keep track of my WHIPS.. I have a kitting disease, so I would be afraid to actually find out how many I have😂. I also like to just pull out what I’m in the mood for stitching. I usually stitch, one in season, one past season, one Christmas or Halloween. I always have three going until I complete one( or get bored)… I use those metal stands from Amazon and keep them on my coffee table set up.. grab and stitch!! Thanks so much, Denise

Most of my stitching is gifts so this dictates what I’m working on… or I stitch seasonal things in the previous season, so I can display and enjoy it in the current season. I’m usually working on 3 things at a time!

WIPGO was created by Jesse Marie Does Stuff on Flosstube. You fill out your bingo(WIPGO) card with your WIPS and your goals for those WIPS before the first of the year. Jesse Marie pulls two numbers each month (unless she pulls the number thirteen, then she pulls three numbers that month.), and you work on the goals you set for the WIPS assigned to those numbers. You can set goals for number off stitches, numbers of days or hours, a new start, etc. I played along for two years, but with some WIPS I wasn’t in the mood to stitch on so it was more like forcing myself to stitch something I don’t want to. This is my hobby and I want to be happy with what I’m stitching on. I’ll get back to the other WIPS when the mood strikes. There is also the HEIFR board from the Floss Bossin Cousins that’s played in the same manner.

Somehow I always think it’s a good idea to do a SAL, and then……..😂😂 Instantly I’m behind and I just get overwhelmed. I don’t keep track of my wips. Although, I must admit, I have gotten project pages from a needlework shop that I use for my current wips. And I’ve started one of the diaries-which has been so fun! I’ve enjoyed that very much!!!

I don't do any of the challenges....not Wipgo or Maynia or 12x12 on New Years or any of them! It's fun to see other people post theirs on social media but I stitch whatever I'm in the mood to stitch when I sit down, usually choosing from 3 or 4 focus projects out of the 30 or so projects in my kitted up/WIP pile. I love those Tiny Modernist bellpulls. I also use Google Image Search to look for charts if I find a picture that I like and there are sadly quite a few PDFs out there that have obviously been stolen and scanned. The blue eagle on your pillow is beautiful.

I have not ever participated in any kind of stitch along or any of the challenges. I agree with you I do not want to count my stitches. I have though about WIPGO but at the end of the day I want to stitch what I'm in the mood for when it's time to stitch.

Hi Shelly. I’m also doing patriotic stitching this month. Since I’m a monogamous stitcher I’ve no need for any wip trackers. Occasionally I will have 2 going, but that is few and far between.

I was doing an inventory of my patterns today. I found the Eagle in The Cricket Collection Eagle Sampler. No 88 dated 5/91 I think that’s the one you are referring to.
@juststitchinginc97776 ай бұрын
You’re the best! That’s exactly the one… and since I didn’t find that at home, maybe a friend stitched it for me hmmm. I will definitely contact Cricket Collection and report the stolen design. I wonder why it didn’t show up on Google image search since the chart is still available. Thanks! Shelly

I’ve heard of wipgo but haven’t really looked into it. I’m thinking I’ll start a few new projects and stitch on them certain days of the week. I am on my sixth iStitch band sampler and love it. I get a part each week and have kept Up with each so far.

I do WIPGO (25 space bingo board) and 2 numbers are called each month (by Jesse Marie Does Stuff on FT, has a fb group too) , and doing Stitch that WIP, but steering clear of any challenges of New Starts. I used to do a decision wheel (app on iPad), filled in with my WIPS, but then if I didn't like the spin, I would spin again. So, that Didn't work for me. I'm also doing the Fox and Rabbit mystery SAL 2024. June & July are mostly Patriotic stitching for me and a bit of Christmas in July. I cover my tails at the beginning, they aren't long enough to try to use later. Maybe I should make them longer or do an away knot. I think my WDW Lichen has more of an olive green in it, hmmmm.
@juststitchinginc97776 ай бұрын
I usually start a new color with a three inch tail on the front, unless there is already a stitched color I can wind under. Those inches can come in handy if the mistake is anywhere near that area!
@cathynanz96376 ай бұрын
You were talking about stitching with white. Perhaps I have just been lucky but have never had trouble with other colors showing on the white. Maybe I just don't understand. Is it one type of floss that is problematic?
@juststitchinginc97776 ай бұрын
No… I’ve actually had more trouble with old-fashioned solid DMC reds than with the hand-dyed options. I have examples to prove it! Now I need to be more pro-active and test the colors before starting my projects.
