Long videos are great, it's like visiting with a friend while I stitch. Your projects are inspiring and interesting. Have a wonderful time at the stitching retreat, I imagine it will be an incredible experience!

I'm glad I found your flosstube! I'm enjoying watching you and seeing your projects. I just watched another flosstuber go through her Wips but her inactive ones went to "prison". Some were on "parole" and would come out when something else got finished. I think your deer would make a great project bag! You could even frame it or make it a pillow the way it is. Have fun at the retreat!

Enjoyed your video, great projects. I now have to go through and sort out my wips from pips 🙈

I totally agree with your WIP/PIP choices. Too much time investment for something you're not in love with. I have a tough time stitching Christmas in July, but maybe I'll give it a go for your SAL, with a Cosford Rise Christmas sampler I'm itching to do. Thanks for another charming hour of stitching with you!

That would be great if you’d join us! I think I have that sampler in my pattern stash too :)

Such a nice video from you again, I love those long flosstubes don’t change that, it’s great to spend stitchy time with you and your projects . I agree for Dutch beauty it’ll be a beautiful project bag, and if you miss it you can always re start somewhere else on the pattern. And don’t worry about your French, we think it’s great and you have a great pronunciation! Wait until you hear my German in Basel you’ll be shocked with my very thick French accent 😂😂 Sending love ❤ xx

Thank you so much! Well... having a french teacher mom has to count for something :D

Oh I wish I knew about this PIP term before I did my midyear WIP parade! That's basically what I was doing, sorting my WIPs from PIPs that I want to work on after I get some of these things finished. Thanks for another fun video!
@carolines_stitch_corner6 ай бұрын
you are right that basically was what you were doing :) And I agree - I wish I knew about PIPs sooner :)

Great video my wonderful friend ❤️❤️ I love long videos! 😍😍 First of all, I LOVE your Zip Bag - it turned out soooo great - can’t wait to see it filled up in a vlog style video! You made me laugh 🤣 I went through my projects and picked out 8 PIPs and here you come with only 1 😬😬 But it’s so good to go through and just realize what doesn’t work anymore. Excited to see the restarts on different fabrics that work for you! Thanks for keeping me such great company ❤️
@carolines_stitch_corner6 ай бұрын
Haha yes I didn’t think it would be only one. But we categorize PIPs a little differently too I think.

That BAP would make a great project bag. I’m with you if it’s not bringing you as much joy then the time for that project has passed ❤❤❤ can’t wait to zoom again! Hopefully we have time to chat at midsummer stitch ❤

For the Christmas piece the white floss looks fine on your fabric. I think it gives more dimension to the piece.

Thank you so much for your input on that! And you are right now I see that too!

@@carolines_stitch_corner I’m thinking of doing a bunch of the Mill Hill Christmas village kits together on one giant piece of fabric. I would need to pick/buy a fabric though. I really don’t need to start another huge project, but….😂

Hi Caroline, I don't know about rustico Aida, but when I stitch on stiff Aida, my threads fray too 😒. I cut my threads shorter to avoid it 🤷♀️. Great video as always, just made my day 😊
@carolines_stitch_corner6 ай бұрын
Thanks for letting me know about this! I guess thats what Ill have to do then. But I oh so like my long threads :D
@Lisa-vb3gn3 ай бұрын
It’s not Aida that you seem to dislike, but that particular piece of fabric. Try using something from a different company.

I love the idea of PIPs but when you ended up with UFO’s instead I was surprised! Take care, Nic x

I like the project bag idea for your deer, but if you were to let him live on in the PIP pile, it’s possible Markup or other apps will come along and improve your chart situation?!? Love your channel and always laugh and smile watching you. Thanks for sharing. 😘
@carolines_stitch_corner6 ай бұрын
The problem is getting it into markup if the quality is bad from the start… The pattern company would have to sell it as a pdf which is highly unlikely 😞 Thank you for your nice words!!

Hi Caroline! I really enjoyed your video! I love the Carolyn Manning one, Autumn Meditation...but I can't seem to find it - do you know if it is available anymore? Edit: I found out it was in a magazine. Happy stitching!!

I agree with your UFO's. I think both Dutch Sampler and the Fox and Rabbit one would make good project bag panels! I wonder with the Brenda Gervais one if you turned the fabric over? The colour looks great so it would just get rid of the mottling which I agree is too much for the pattern. See you next week and don't forget your rain coat - it's cool here too!!!
@carolines_stitch_corner6 ай бұрын
Thanks Sally! I thought about turning it over but I also think I'd prefer stitching that on like 40ct ;) Oh I'll absolutely take my raincoat even though the thought of it is making me break a sweat right now :D
