Just went to my first retreat ever! Stitch West in Utah. It was a much more budget friendly retreat. Although going to a retreat at Hobby House and with Nicola Parkman would be a dream come true! I will have to live vicariously through others for now. I love the Shiloh fabric and would love some 36 or 40 count to stitch a Sampler on. I will have to keep watch for it to be available on your website!

The battle at Shiloh is an interesting part of history, that's for sure!! Grant is one of my favorite American historical figures, so I had to name a linen relating to him. There will probably be another Grant inspired linen name in the future and I am most certainly going to highlight Julia in my first lady series! 😉

I agree with you. Sampler September should be in February. Having it in September interferes with fall stitching. I am going to move Sampler stitching to February next year.

Another great video! Thank you for showing Peacocks in the Garden. It was also of fun to do. I really like Ann Castle and need to add her to my collection. I feel the same way about Sampler September. The desire to stitch Autumn patterns is overwhelming and competes with my sampler stitching plans. I happened to be on Instagram when you posted your new colors and was lucky enough to purchase one. The more mottled linens intimidate me so I would love to give Shiloh a try. Your videos are a joy! Your new colors are beautiful so it's hard to choose, but if I can only pick one, it would have to be Hawthorn. I started stitching samplers back in the 1980's but when I started back a couple of years ago, I swore to myself I would only stitch smalls. Of course I couldn't hold myself to that and have several samplers going all the time. Like you, I didn't want to stop stitching samplers for Sampler September, and so I finished BBD's Away We Ride and worked on Halloween Quaker!
