Y'all are just the best, also I love that Aimee was sitting so close to the mic this time it was like she was in front of the camera. I know this is random but sometimes I think Elizabeth needs to do Flosstube extras where she just nerds out on any given topic and gives us all her brain dump information, like down the rabbit hole with Elizabeth. I feel like I would learn a lot. Maybe a Flosstube extra where Caroline has a full Chaos Caroline moment or maybe Chaos Caroline Community tab lol

I can imagine the libraries wonder “Why does everyone suddenly want this pattern?!?” I see lots of ornaments in my future. I saw some finished 40 ct silk gauze pieces and can’t wait to get my hands on it and try tiny stitching!

If you can find the pattern in their catalog, a librarian will probably be happy to scan it for you. I sincerely hope a ton of people ask for it. That would have tickled me, when I was still behind the desk!

I just started hand dying fabric and I tried tea staining. and I got a beautiful super pale caramel colored tan and I think I’m going to recreate that color and use that!

I was curious wether the voluptuous mermaids pattern would be getable by Interlibrary Loan, I emailed the department of the public library I work for. They’ve put it into their request queue and we’ll see if they can track down a copy for me! 🤞🏻 The librarian thrill of the hunt was too strong to resist!

So I have a TW piece that I both adore and spends a lot of time in time out because the border is this beautiful Celtic knot work that is all fractionals and blends. Worth it but slow progress Also I love the library story! I went on a World Cat scavenger hunt for OOP cross stitch and also ended up in New Zealand (what’s up with that?) but unfortunately they couldn’t locate the book. I even had a person in NZ ready to check it out and do the scanning 😂

This dress is Boden. Other favorites are Anthropologie, j. Crew, Meghan fabulous, Duchess Milianda, and Dangerfield. A lot of what I wear is thrifted though! I love weird vintage clothes, especially anything with shoulder pads.
