I really enjoyed this video. You can just sense the amount of joy you got out of your retreat. That is just wonderful. ❤ I’m so glad you had a great time. For a prompt idea, what if you both picked a project and both of you stitch it - you pick one and she also picks one and you both have to stitch both as part of your 50.

Oh I knew you were right and I was taking too many 🤭🤣 I knew I wouldn't stitch on them all but I would have hated to not have something with me. At least, in the end, I didn't have to haul it all on the train as I ended up driving lol. Next job is to get a North Wales stitchers day sorted out - you up for that???!!! 😁😁😁😁

I'm sure someone has said already but there is a Banana Quaker stitched scissor fob. Can't remember the designer!!! Maybe you have to do that now. Really enjoyed catching up Sally and hearing your thoughts on stitch in London. I think it's really nice to listen to because we all had such different but the same experiences. I'm really looking forward to your birthday challenge with Sarah and I'll definitely join in for parts.

Omg what a ride! I was right there with you and the angry tears of disappointment followed by the excitement of arrival! I love a good retreat, lucky for me there’s two in NZ this year - we had one here in Christchurch in March and there’s one in Wellington in August that I have had flights booked for about 8 months for haha some of my best stitchy friends are retreat friends too. Hey I know you’re 6 months into the year but what about upside down stitching? Stitch on something that’s the opposite season to your current one - like it’s my winter, so rather than a summer stitch a winter one. Or come your spring, do autumn instead! - take care, Nic x

Love watching your videos, my friend and I have known each other 50 years in 2024 🥰😳 and are going to try do lots of things together ❤️ she’d been trying to get me into cross stitch for many years but never succeeded ☹️ although I’ve done other stitching and sewing 🧵🪡🧵 but she eventually got me down the rabbit hole 😂in November 2022 and I’m loving it 🥰 been to 2 retreats in Crewe and they are fab 😊😊 looking forward to seeing your 50 new starts 😳😉😊 glad you enjoyed your retreat when you managed to get there safely xx

My daughter just stitched a baby bib for her sister's baby-to-be that had bananas on it. There are for sure some charts with bananas. 💜

Hi Hollie, unfortunately you can't buy The Four Seasons at the moment as it is sold as a kit by a company called Nitka who are based in Moscow - so not able to sell to much of the Western World at the moment. I have passed mine on already so my only suggestion is to look on the 2nd hand market or you could reach out to the designer and see if she would sell it to you. I believe she has done this for another kit that was sold through Nitka. Good luck in getting hold of a copy and happy stitching x
