I am an early riser and early to bed person, usually up around 5 a.m. and asleep by 10 p.m.

Happy Mothers Day. Thank you for mentioning it being a difficult day for some. We laid my 93 year old mother to rest on Tuesday. So this is a bit of an emotional Mothers Day. And it's a cloudy on, too. My husband is off of work every other Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And lately it's been so nice while he is working. He gets on his days off and the cloud show up and it rains. But we always try and enjoy the time together no matter what.

Before I always looked at the pattern and was like "Do I have anyone to gift this to?" but now if I like it, I can make it and then scrapbook it (not that I started, but I certainly can). Just celebrated my bday on May 10th and started some new projects to celebrate. The Tarot Cat series by Dirty Annie’s, The Savannah Elephant endangered species series by Lindy Stitches. I joined the Deadly Aquarium SAL by LolaCrow and am close to finishing the border. Frosted Pumpkin’s Arctic Animal SAL also got me. I’m up to 14 WIPS, which feels like ALOT to me. I was a monogamous stitcher for the past 35 yrs, but flosstube has encouraged me to stitch what I want. I would love to see a flip-through of your Xstitch scrapbook. Good idea for storage & using your paper supplies in a different way.

But it's supposed to be nice out, so I'll dig a few weeds and plant flower seeds. The zinnias bloom and we gather the seeds. Same with the hollyhocks. Love my annuals and the perrinials. Lots of rain and mud, which is wonderful after 3 years of drought. Praise the Lord!

Black Vintage Sampler - I just love it! And it’s so close to being finished! You finished the Wizard of Oz ! Wow! It looks so cute 🥰 The Signs series does include all 4 seasons but only the summer one appeals to me …. The Fish and Ships looks great on that fabric with the white floss. I bought navy Aida for mine but haven’t chosen a floss color yet. Am trying to decide between white and an icy blue color. CLOUD. Do you ever give advice on floss colors? I have a turtle piece and I would love some advice on floss. I could tell you which piece it is and some of my thoughts on colors but lots of people don’t like to give their opinions on floss colors …. My two closest friends are knitters but not stitchers. I always look forward to your flosstube and I’m so glad that yours is weekly. 🤗
