Oh gosh, I didn’t start drinking coffee until I was in my mid-forties! I needed that caffeine boost to get going in the am. But chocolate, I’ve been a lover of all things chocolate I was little. Stitching, coffee and chocolate (and my kids) make me happy 😊. Great video today!!!

I think definitely the paler yellow for the moon, it looks more natural, I’m my humble opinion, again another video choc full of gorgeousness, I know that’s probably not a proper word but it sums you your stitching perfectly, I am a one cup of coffee a day girl, other than that it’s green tea,

The face reminds me of King Julien from the movie Madagascar. Lemon, definitely. I used to drink coffee by the gallon until I realized that after many, many years, I had developed a sensitivity to it. Now it's decaf tea. But I love chocolate! Mrs Flossy is from Arizona.

Great stitching as usual. I’m a bit behind flosstube as I was on holiday with my family in The West coast of Ireland. We had a fabulous time but not much stitching or watching got done. I always stitch more at home! While I was watching your last 3 videos I had to stop the one and go right over and order those cute ugly sweaters! I belong to a book club and a bridge club and I thought what adorable gifts they would be for our Christmas exchange. Thanks again Laura for all you do. x

So nice to sit and stitch and watch your largess. If I were choosing colors for Forever More I would probably use a very deep brown-black for the raven and the lemon silk lame braid for the moon. It will give you a little sparkle too. Have a good week.

Hi Laura! Lots of progress! I'm trying to stick to one cup of coffee a day (in the morning). The Aston Villa piece is coming along nicely. That's funny about your hubby coming up the stairs and you setting that piece aside. I did the same thing for a piece I was stitching for my hubby. It was before he retired and he would go upstairs to bed a little early and do some reading. Then I would hear the floor creak and I was like is he getting ready to come downstairs....lol. He would go to the bathroom and then I would hear him get back in bed. Then I said okay time to stitch some more...lol. I think the lemon (lighter yellow) would work perfectly for the moon. Autumn gnome is looking super, can’t wait to see your penguins stitched on that blue, I have not tried to stitch a berry but would too give a go, coffee I can take it or leave it , but I would knock you out of the way to get the last bar of Galaxy( chocolate) on the shelf make no mistake about that 😂 , I don’t even share it with the grandkids lol.

I have to tell you, I now refer to Friday as "Laura-day"! Really look forward to each flosstube episode. I am going to start the raven in JCS Halloween magazine also but I am using a Wichelt French Country - which is a grayish light purple. So my flosses will be 310, 732 for the branch and 3047 for the moon. Can't wait to start! I too only drink Decaf coffee and rarely. Have a great week and thanks for sharing your talents with us.

That's a great idea, to use the glass as the backer in a frame. No chemical reaction with the cloth. I'd probably tape all around the glass -- maybe in an electrical tape since that's slick and comes in different colors -- so it couldn't dig into the cloth, but that's easy.

Great to see you tonight in a cold wet Ireland. Looks like we're skipping autumn & going straight into winter. I was stitching on Arabesque as I watched you, also has a number of "personalisations" due to my inability to count 😂😂😂 I love your dragon piece, I'd definitely stitch the moon surround. I just got Iron Flame to read over the winter before the next book comes out. Great to see that Mo's piece is almost there. My husband & I do presents in the same way. Apparently I'm really good at picking fishing gear as he is with cross stitch supplies😂😂😂 Loved all your projects as always. Looking forward to finding new to me flosstubers over the year. We have so many similarities Laura but where we differ is I am slowed down by stitching with two strands and love stitching with a single strand. You kept up with ABCingo much better than I have. I personally like the lighter colour for your moon question. 🦉🧵🪡🌻🔆

The other Season Courier pattern by Robin Pickens is Robin's Spring. For the crow piece I think if you use the darker yellow it will look more like a sun than a moon, in my opinion. Always love to see your stitching! I like my coffee black and strong lol

I can tell you that Floss and Flame was at Stitch NJ this past summer and we all got one of her soy candles. It has a lovely scent. I'd love to get to Salty Yarns myself one day. I do like the moon with the dragon but I agree on the border. I'm doing the tree of life pattern by that designer and it has 3 borders which is definitely 2 too many for me!

I am not a coffee drinker, but whenever I stay at a hotel, I'll brew a pot just for the smell. I don't know why, but I only like smelling coffee when on vacation. I know, it's weird. I do love chocolate, though. I always have chocolate on hand for "medicinal" purposes, lol. I forgot about wanting to stitch the Raven. I was so excited about getting a piece of Ectoplasm fabric by Oblong Meow on etsy to stitch Old Skully on. I'll have to kit up the Raven for October as well. I'll be stitching Pumpkin-color Autumn by Owl Forest Embroidery for your birthday Sal. I'm excited. It's a beautiful chart and doesn't cost a dime.

The floss for that peacock sampler would look amazing on a medium grey. Maybe even with an opalescent so it looks a bit silvery. For the Raven I would complete the bird first and the stitch a little bit of the orange and see how it looks. I like that color better then the lemon. Bit that is just my taste.

I'm impressed at your willpower that you're thinking of doing just *one* trip to the LNS when it opens. For your raven, I agree with the suggestion of stitching the moon last, because I think the orange (was it called sunrise?) would be nicer than the yellow. I completely understand your coffee situation - I don't like coffee (hot or iced), but...my favourite ice cream is coffee ice cream!

I like the dark sunrise for the moon. I think the color is in keeping with the other two floss colors. When I look at the lemon it seems too pale...more Spring than Autumn. But that's just me...I love saturated colors.

How are you doing with your goal for FFO’s for the year? Z for zinnia, zipper, zigzag. Where can I find a sea turtle replacement for the mermaid in Summer Quaker? I used 18 count Aerial to complete Mighty Wonder Whale by OwlForest.

The sea turtle I bought is from La Selva designs on Etsy. It will be a tight fit so I’m still keeping an eye out but will go with that if I can’t find anything else.
