I like the word you chose for the year and tied it to a peacock. It would be nice to stitch a sunflower. My favorite count of fabric is either 16 or 32 and sometimes 18 if I need to make things smaller and use only one strand of floss. I want to thank you so much for finding the pattern I wanted, "A Sampler Story", notifying me when it can in and promptly sent it to me. That was excellent service.

Great video! A keeper to refer back to. Love your talking about your word of the year. I had pretty much decided to pick that word also. My reasons are that create is something that applies to so many possibilities. I think being creative makes one feel so good. Fills your soul maybe. Can be in sewing, meals, relationship building, and more. Thanks for your thoughts about create. Love your pillows. I have many family birthdays in February. My husband, daughter, Mother, a sister, a brother in law. And more. Love the pictures you took and used in your calendar. I plan to look that up. I have some Colorado connections. Visited there twice. My sister married someone from Colorado, and he’s a wonderful person. She met him when she worked in LaJunta. You do such beautiful work. Creative flosstube!

Question of the day: I stitch on 36 count with one strand most of the time . Sometimes two if I have to. I do also like 40 count. I do those because I can manage w just my readers. I want to have fun and keep it simple and not need a lot of “gear” so magnifying lenses are OUT for me. At least for as long as I can get away with it. Plus then life is a lot more portable and I can stitch anywhere without complicated stuff being dragged along. I’m currently a HUGE fan of Needle and Flax linens :-)❤️

Hi Sheri! I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear kitty. It causes such heartache. My daughter had to make the same decision a few weeks before Christmas. Her Maynard was also 13 and has been her best buddy since he chose her at the shelter when she was in college. He was my grandcat. In spite of my ruined furniture and carpet I will be ever thankful for the companionship he gave my daughter. May your heart be filled with all the happy, fun, goofy cuddly times your kitty provided. hugs and a sunflower to cheer you. My go to is 32 count but I have a few 36 pieces and do love stitching just one piece of floss. I just ordered a piece of 40 count last week because I do not want fear to prevent me from trying something new! I appreciate your encouragement! Cant wait for camp!!! Several of us are stitching the same scissors piece from Shakespear’s Peddler and have decided to eat lunch at the same table everyday at camp..lol.. Thank you for the darling freebies!

I'm so sorry about your loss of Gracie. She was such an adorable kitty. I just loved seeing her when you had her on your lap on flosstube. That little printer is super. I love it. Your stitched snowman is really cute. He should have a lopsided head. Have you ever seen a perfect snowman? If you have, he was fake. 😊 Oh my goodness, that Heaven and Earth design by Jane Wooster Scott is gorgeous. I used to have several of her puzzles. They were so much fun, and I always loved the scenes she created. But I think I would stick to the puzzles, and not that cross stitch. The fabric count that I use most often is 14 because I can see it without a magnifier. But I'm loving doing All Creatures Great and Small on 25 count one over one. I do use my magnifier, and I only stitch a small amount each time I sit down to work on it. I love the results. I would not have stitched this piece on 14 count. It would have been way too big. Thank you, Sheri for all that you do for our community of stitchy friends! Diane
