I say One Stitch at a Time and whatever I can touch and get some stitches in is worth it to me. I am 65 years old with RA so I have to give my body some rest. So I can stitch for 1 hour and then rest for 2 hours. So sorry your arm hurts but you sometimes have to listen to your body and if you do then it will reward you with more stitching time. Love all your projects. The baby blanket is going to be super cute. Can not wait to see the progress of that. Happy Stitching.

Thank you so much! And yes as frustrating as it is I know it’s best to listen and not push through the pain. I want to heal up and not hinder myself further.

I refer to my projects as "Dreams and Nightmares". I am 64 years old and stitch hours per day. A stand has made a difference for me. I switch between holding my project and using the stand during the day. It takes some pressure off your "holding" hand and it changes the way you hold your needle, which can be good.
@cin3maticstitches5 ай бұрын
Omg Dreams and Nightmares 🤣🤣 that is perfect! Weirdly enough the issue is in my stitching arm. The holding arm seems just fine. Though I bet a stand would help regardless! I could learn how to stitch with 2 hands :)

See you at Stitch Con! You are one of the few people I thought would appreciate my small for the smalls exchange so fingers crossed we get in the same group!

So excited to see you at StitchCon! Unfortunately I just couldn’t find the energy to stitch/finish a small, so I won’t be joining in the exchange but I’m so excited to see what everyone gets.

Hmm....trying to think how many stitches I can complete in 15 minutes. Not many I'm afraid. I need to catch up on dees20stitches' SAL. My coworker is going to love this month's pattern. Frida is one of her fave artists. Have fun at stitchcon and have a great week!

Thank you so much! And yes 15 mins is barely anything haha. I can get one length of thread in 😅

What a great hour of Information and fun! (It is weird to mention I think we had a speed date at Jingle Ball. If so, no. No we didn't speed date)

Hello there! No not weird at all! I really enjoyed the Jingle Ball speed dating. It was so great to meet so many different stitchers.

Nice to see you again. I use a pillow to prop up my arm that's holding a q snap. Is is your stitching arm or the other that's bothering you. I hope it feels better soon. I've been having problems with plantar fascitis in my foot. It was mostly gone until the 5k yesterday. Now it's back to resting it which does mean plenty of stitching time. My oldest son plays Elden Ring. He asked me a bunch of questions when I said you were playing it, but of course I do not know the answers or even what he is talking about since I don't play video games. Something about build and weapons. Have a wonderful time at Stitch Con!

It’s my stitching arm! Quite irritating but it’s feeling much better now that I’ve had a few days off. Funny enough I also have plantar fasciitis (evidently I am falling apart 🤣). Another very annoying injury so I sympathize. It seems to take forever to heal! Haha well this won’t make too much sense to you, but you can tell your son I’m playing an Astrologer. I use Lusat’s Staff and i like Hoslow’s armour set because it’s pretty 😆

@@cin3maticstitches Glad your arm is feeling better, and hope your foot gets better soon as well. I'll rely the info to my son. I'm used to not understanding what my sons are talking about when they talk video games or their Dungeons & Dragons type games.

15 minutes a day?! Your physio is clearly not a stitcher! 😂 I just turned 50 this year and have noticed I now have arthritis in the first joint of both my index fingers from holding the needle the way I do. So far, thankfully it doesn’t bother me too much. Hope your arm will get better! And have fun at Stitch Con! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
@cin3maticstitches5 ай бұрын
I know haha she has no idea what she’s asked of me 🤣 oh no sorry to hear about your arthritis. I’m glad it’s not bothering you too much though.

Omg how are you living with such reduced stitchy time?? Sorry to hear about the frogging on the Mira, if it makes you feel any btr I also ended up frogging a bunch on my Mira too! I will have to check out the challenger, it sounds entertaining :)

30:08 Nailed it ;) Yeah, I am also working on my Dark queen. .. as I have said for the last 6 months but hey, I have actually made progress. And now I am defenitely at the backstitching part sooo.. my plan of friday stitching ended up being playing Power wash sim instead. X) I have told myself, no new starts unbtil Dark queen is done and with my current rate I might just finish up every single other project I got. X) Not that that would be all bad but still. Ah, so you have not moved on to this obscure, little talked about indie game called Hades 2? X) I have been enjoying hearing snippets from that soundtrack. But not taken the leap yet.
@cin3maticstitches5 ай бұрын
Wow congratulations on making it to the backstitch section!! That is so much work. And omg yes Hades 2! I did purchase it on Early Access but haven’t started it yet. I might wait until they are totally finished with development before I dive in, but I really want to try it. Hades is one of my favourite games 😍

30s? Oh my. You are still young. The challenge is that this is our sanity. Maybe you could pay someone else to do all frogging and back stitch?

Sounds like time to invest in a stand? Hoooommer!
@cin3maticstitches5 ай бұрын
A stand may very well help! Strangely the pain is in my stitching arm, not the one I hold the hoop with. Though I’m sure a stand would help regardless!
