Always enjoyable. I appreciate the kind words for the finish of Eleanor Rigby. Stephanie, congratulations on your first booklet of charts! Allison, you are an amazing sister! Thank you both for sharing. ❤❤

I probably won’t start Elizabeth and the Lavender Sky but in my soon to be published episode I started a number of Mira’s that I haven’t seen a ton of people work on (I also haven’t seen all the floss tubes either so I could be missing some) but if you’re interested we could start a SAL called Minor Miras where you can put all the Mirabilia projects that don’t seem to be as popular 😊

Oh I was TOTALLY a Lavendar and Lace stitcher in the 1990s -- I did L&L Angel of the Sea for my eldest (born 2000), and In the Arms of the Angel for my 2nd (in 2003)... I also did Autumn Angel, Ice Angel, Blue Moon Angel and Angel of Grace... I would love to do some more... but they are really dated now LOL

That’s wonderful! People still stitch them from time to time, but some look very dated. I have a couple I’m holding onto for “one day”

I love watching both of you and seeing your projects and plans. I had decided no more buying for the next month but made the mistake of checking out Liz Mathews after watching the video, fell in love with Quaker Snowflakes and now have, not sure how it happened an order coming from 123 stitch to the UK, hopefully will arrive in time to join in the birthday SAL 🤣

I was so "tickled pink" at watching this episode because...you two were SO HAPPY . ...especially with Allison being so happy For YOU!! The relationship between you two is so obvious--stay close. And about the "Game of Throne" book-- Congrats! I just am sad that I will never be able to stitch any as I don't know anything about computer patterns-- I need old fashioned paper patterns. And as a person of Croatian heritage-- I. Wait to see patterns from there!

If I buy one of your patterns and stitch on, say, 28ct 1x1, will it be a more detailed finish? Or do you have to publish the pattern differently to get more detailed results? Also, how do you know if those hoops are vintage? As for the skeins, I've read posts from people where the same color number is a little off between skeins. So, when I bought Bosh's Garden of Earthly Delights from HAED (it's basically 3 HAEDs in one), I made sure to buy all the floss for the entire thing at one time. Like, I even made sure all the same color skeins were the same dye lot. I was so paranoid and I know this will take me years and years and years to complete.

OK. I have a connection to make. You made me do it. By May 30, I had been staring at my unstarted Miribilia all month. I finally forced myself to pick it up and put in the first stitches. I had been so scared to do that. But then, I couldn't put it down. So now I am flying with plans to do two more and it's ALL your fault. Love your Flosstubes, but gosh you two are terrible enablers. Or maybe I should say you just push people off of cliffs??

Do you have tips on how to get traction for flosstube? My last video was popular, but my most recent is still too boring LOL
@CrossStitchtheGlobe5 ай бұрын
I don't think your channel is boring at all! Is there anything you're worried about specifically? Doing videos alone is so different than having someone to chat with, so it's kind of a totally different animal.

@@CrossStitchtheGlobe Thank you... it is weird to be sitting in my basement talking to myself (and occasionally interrupted by my 6 or 11 year olds or the 21 year old if she is over)... I don't have any stitchy friends. So I tend to lose track of what I WANT to talk about half way through the intro LOL

The GOT books are amazing! Some of my favorites in the fantasy genre. In my opinion the show was great until the last season 😢. The audiobooks are awful though. The narrator is terrible. He mispronounces everyone’s names, place names, etc… He changes his pronunciation of the same name on the same page sometimes! I would suggest skipping the audiobooks and just reading them for yourselves. Beautiful patterns though 😊
