I too knit😊. But I’m more process than product. So I can never finish a project. The only problem with the 80’ and 90’s cross stitch patterns are back stitches and the quarter stitches. Merry Christmas and a happy healthy new year.

Just a suggestion but you could work on a project for 15 to 30 min before you work on the project you intended to work on. That way you could see some finishes over time. I agree with 80's and 90's about backstitching and fractional stitches. I don't mind the backstitching but in not a fan of fractional stitching. Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤️🎄

Your plan to work on older WIPs in 2024 is such a great idea - I may follow along with you on that plan… Your Lavender & Lace finished pieces on your wall are beautiful… love all patterns by Lavender & Lace, and the one that you couldn’t remember the name of, is Song of Christmas… lovely, lovely, lovely! Love your thrifting finds and your book flup throughs. I enjoyed going back to look at this video & im glad i did. I really live the santa semi. My grandfather, who passed from cancer after a year in remission when i was 7, used to drive an extra large semi after he sold his little farm. Sure might be neat to stitch that someday.

Congratulations on your 5,000 subscribers!!! Wow! I love watching you and Tootie, you always lift my spirits! My husband and I love to shop at Good Will too! It is so fun to find treasures! Last year my son and I were in a Good Will store and I spotted a bone china platter from England edged in gold that was the same as my Mom’s china. I scooped it up and it is beautiful, and mint condition! It was only 4.75!! I have the few pieces my mom had left, my mom and dad were married in 1942. They have both passed away? And I just treasure the beautiful things they left me. I looked on Replacements LTD and they wanted 70.00 for that platter!!!! You just never know what you may find! Not goodwill just a little mom and pop store and I found 2 bone china bowls for 1.50 each. I want to make a pincushion to glue to the center. It was interesting hearing about you moms china. I know nothing about bone china but this has a mark that says paragon bone china. china Potters to her majesty Queen Elizabeth. It's a beautiful pattern, I'll show them in my next video. Hi Deana - Great to see you back! Happy New Year! I’m still catching up on December Floss-Tubes! 😂 It’s always such a busy joyous time of year but I do find that my stitching and Floss-Tubing does go by the wayside a bit. This year I did do quite a bit of great stitching though so that is a warm feeling. I just love stitching beside the Christmas tree with all the holiday lights glowing and holiday music playing. Such a romantic. 🎄🕯 Great projects in the works! As always, I am amazed at the size and range of your stitching accomplishments. I always think I can accomplish more than reality allows. I’m trying to be more realistic this year - stitching mostly from stash (no new patterns), trying to limit myself to fabric and flosses, finishing supplies, and creating a new Stitchery in our in-law apartment. I have many gorgeous patterns I really want to stitch so I think this plan is a good fit. We shall see. 😊 Looking forward to your next video. Take care of yourself, your honey and your pups! I always stay for the whole video. I really, really enjoy you and Tootie and the other fur babies when their around. You are so lucky with the good will finds. I like shopping second hand stores but our here does not have much and the ones in the city (45 minutes away) have some good things sometimes but the prices can be crazy at one and reasonable at the other. I have two Carolyn Manning's to start, thanks to you😂. I may do 24 ornaments in 2024. When it gets to Christmas time, I would like to give cross stitch gifts but they are never ffo'd. I was born in St Joseph, lived in north central MO (Trenton) for almost 10 years, then bank to St Joseph, then on the Kansas City! I moved away in 2003, and am now in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle). I love your work! That Santa Semi is darling! My great nephew loves semi’s and John Deere tractors… I figure by the time I’ll finish it he will be an adult with a family of his own, lol!!! I think you can find the pocket shawl pattern by googling double moss pocket shawl. It was designed by Donna barranti. Also on youtube I watch Cecilia Blomdahl, she lives on Svalbard and island close to the north pole. She tells about living there and their life. Just really interesting to me. I also do searches on youtube for quilting tutorials, knitting, knitting tutorials, true crime, home tours, just anything I can think might interest me. Then I subscribe to the ones I really like.
