The pillow looks great. I also like to do plainer finishes of my projects. The wood pecker looks great. I still need to buy the book. I also started the Mini Villages. I’m with you on the wips. I love seeing everyone’s finished projects but am amazed at how stitchers can start so many and not complete them. I’ve seen some who have 50 plus wips. Let’s get them finished and on display. I don’t need to see how they have not had stitches since last time.

Hoi Hanneke, Ik vind het altijd leuk en rustgevend om jouw filmpjes te zien. Ook leuk dat wij best wel dezelfde smaak hebben, veel patronen/projecten die jij maakt heb ik ook (of staan op mijn wishlist 😅). Ook vind ik de theekopjes prachtig! I have pretty much been stitching from stash this year and will continue to do the same thru this year. I have 14 WIPs and would love to get it down to 10 and no more. I too have a box of lovely patterns waiting to start, but I love what I am stitching right now so I don't start anything. I have the Spring pattern too from Historische Stickmister. It's one of those I plan to finish this year. Maybe you will have a finish on yours this year too. I have no specific plans, but I just stitch on what I feel like stitching on. You have gotten me interested in Royal Albert. I love seeing the pretty cups you share. My husband is going to the UK this month for work. Maybe he will be able to find me a piece. I at least hope he can bring me back some loose leaf tea from London. Happy New Year! Congrats on having reached another subscriber milestone. 🎉🎉🎉

I do believe that your colour choices will prove to be accurate. You have a very good sense of colour, as seen in the changes you make in your stitching. That was another lovely episode of your stitching, so much variety. The Artecy piece [ Lady with umbrella ] is beautiful & I realise it is a challenging project. It will be a wonderful finish & worth framing.I like the Blue Poppies. The reproduction you are working on is going well & I agree with you that the lower flower doesn't fit in, I noticed that straightaway. I love the fire screen & would leave it as it is, myself ! Oh wow, that antique dealer is something else, as we say here in Southern united states. Lol, of course, why wouldn't us women spend countless hours over a decorative piece of furniture but for its sole use to keep our own ornamentation from melting off? That is hysterical that he said that to you. No, women didn't use it to keep their faces from getting too hot but to keep ourselves pretty, hahaha. Wow. That just cracks me up, lol. Happy New Year to you! Love all your projects that you are stitching on. I think I fell in love with "Moon deer". It appears a little bit lacey around the border? The colours are beautiful. I admire all your full coverage pieces however I wouldn't attempt to complete one. I don't have the patience for that. The women in the rain piece that you are almost finished on is absolutely gorgeous! I also love the reproduction piece you are in the process of completing . It will be lovely as well. Oh that was fun seeing what you're doing. Your antique reproduction is coming along so nicely. The colors are beautiful. I'm with you as far as not caring to plan my stitching but we're on the same page for this year - stitch from stash. I have sooo many kitted projects waiting to be started and then there are the WIPs. So I think it would be nice to get some of those finished at long last. Leuk om te zien waar je mee bezig bent! Zo'n serie met huisjes heb ik vergelijkbaar gedaan, ook niet allemaal huisjes, wel pas gekocht en gemaakt toen hele serie er lag, omdat je dan pas goed kunt beoordelen of je ze allemaal leuk vindt. Mijn kleur wit, had ik toen ook achteraf liever anders gekozen, heb ik opgelost door er een extra pootje overheen te borduren dus X en / zeg maar. Eigenlijk lag het vooral ook aan dat ik beter een donkerder kleur stof had moeten kiezen, dat kun jij natuurlijk ook nog doen met een deel van de andere patronen, want je hoeft ze natuurlijk niet allemaal op dezelfde stof te borduren, Kun je voor haardscherm niet een bloemenpatroon gebruiken wat je al hebt, bijv. die van Marjolein Bastin die je aan het eind liet zien? Of is die weer te groot? Benieuwd hoe het patroon van de bank gaat worden, de kleuren zijn in ieder geval heel fraai! Wens je ten slotte een goed nieuwjaar toe met veel borduurplezier.
