I can relate to you Anita, when you said that if someone came into your house, they would never know that a stitcher lived there! I have to stop stitching gifts and make something for my walls, too. I collect the 6 inch rulers, too. And I was at a flea market, it started raining and wind was blowing, there was a strawberry that blew onto the ground. I picked it up and tried to give it back, but she told me to keep it! And I did. it's polka dot, so cute! I love the sewing machine drawers for storage. Great to see you back and things getting back to normal!

Oh my....I feel like my year has mirrored yours. I work at a school that was/is full time face to face. It’s been an incredibly hard and stressful year there. I also lost my mom this year to dementia and failure to thrive. Between working full time and caregiving full time (thanks to an understanding administrator) I have been through it in 2020 and 2021. I tell everyone that cross stitching has been the ONLY thing that has kept me from losing my mind. It’s my happy place! I’m so glad you are back. Thank you for the much needed laughter!

But yesterday I visited Fiberworks and actually shopped! I'm hoping sometime in the very near future a Stitchery Nook stitchy day can be in store. Can you believe the last time that happened was just a few short weeks before the pandemic? Time is an illusion anymore lol. I hope you both take care, and hope to see you both soon! WELCOME back! * happy dance * I used to use q-snaps but they were getting too heavy so I switched to a little wood hoop - 6" I'm with you Anita - they weigh nothing. When I want to use two hands, I use a punch needle double hoop that I sit on the table.
