I really enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful work in cross stitch, crochet 🧶 and your Lori Holt quilt. You had me laughing when you said the fabric you ordered needed to have something with it! 😂. Thank you for sharing all about you. 😊

you're just great and I love seeing what you're working on, especially with DMC's. It's a nice change to see projects worked in DMC's and you know it goes both ways. Sometimes I've seen someones project done in DMC's and I can see that the tones are a bit different and maybe I want to change a couple colors to overdoes so I get the effect I am looking for but not a complete slap to my budget. I'm getting close to a start on that little Robin sampler too and I really love your choices there so I think I will do the Dmc as well. Thank you for the content!

I like the Dmc especially because of the affordability and easy of picking them up in town

Thank you for the great video. Love seeing all your progress! That quilt is lovely. Your mismatch crochet blanket is so fun. Love that you are using up your yarn scraps on it. The fact that you would crochet blankets for foster kids as a take away is so nice. Can't wait for a new video. Hope you have a wonderful spring break with your family. Have a great weekend!

This is the first video of yours I’ve watched, and I’m looking forward to more:) We have very similar taste and hobbies, and I stay home to take care of kids and house, too:) It’s nice to find people online with the same interests, especially if you don’t have those people in your “real” life. Great job on your granny square quilt! I have the book but haven’t made the quilt yet - I love the cheerful colors you chose!

Hi from northern Indiana. I am catching up on your videos. I admire you and your husband so much for adopting four foster children, you sound like a very patient parent too! You mentioned Lakeside linen and it is very nice, but hard to find. I've been able to buy some on facebook stash sites but you have to be fast and look often. Also, I love to see peoples haul. Our Joanns up her is still open but I don't know for how long.
@Davis.Quilting.Stitching2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much we have had them for going on ten years wouldn’t trade it for anything…. I sometimes see lakeside linen on the destash groups but I just never get it because it always seems so high compared to other linen….the Joann’s in Columbus GA is still open but it’s 2 hours away so not a frequent trip I do miss the one that was closer to me.

@@Davis.Quilting.Stitching I had seen The Rosebush Sampler. Jane from Running with Scissors, Stitching with Jane and Julie was working on it. I believe she finished it and it was gorgeous. @@Davis.Quilting.Stitching I have it in my cart. Just trying to make a decision on the fabric. 36 is my sweet spot. I’d rather go smaller so 20 count Aida is looking good. I’ve only stitched on 40 count once and did not like it. May have to try that again.

Are you sure that your Joanns is going out of business? The article that I saw, just said that they had filed bankruptcy. I need to check and see if mine is closing. This is my first time watching your channel. You have some awesome samplers in progress! I tend to stick with smaller projects. The largest one I've completed, was Teresa Kogut's Happy Home. Those children are so blessed that they found a family that kept them together.

I will call this week. My store is one of the smallest in the states. Check for Nate Berkus upholstery linen. It's 36 ct. I bought 4 yards of it at $29.99, and now it's on sale for $24.99. I'm thinking about buying more. I have a channel also. Uploading a video now. As you know, it's a slow process. :( @@Davis.Quilting.Stitching
