So lovely to spend some time with you, Nicola! I stitch whilst listening, wonderful & interesting as always. I am so relieved that Hugo is on the mend! Love, love to meet the doggies in your videos! Little Alice Park sampler, what a sweetie. The Berliner wool work pictorial samplers are my favourites, something cozy & endearing about them. About Jessie´s sampler, mostly I like the bolder colours on these pictorial ones. But Jessie´s sampler have faded incredibly beautiful & Jessie wolud probably have selected these more muted, romantic colours on the front if she was a young lady or and adult woman. The mature Lady Jessie on the front & the little child Jessie on the back. So I would say the front is a favourite. The sampler will be beautiful however you choose to reproduce her. Thank You for being such inspiration! Almost finished with Mrs.Campbell. She has been my constant companion for a year now because I can only stitch/use my right hand, and I have loved every minute of her. Take care, and have a lovely time with Linda & friends in the US.

I would probably stitch the colors on the back of the sampler for myself and the front for my mom. Both sides are beautiful! Glad that Hugo is doing well. Happy stitching!

So happy to hear that Hugo is doing better and able to get around again. The contrast in Jessie’s sample is amazing! Both sides are beautiful. Lately I’ve been drawn too your more colorful samplers (working on Jane Hardy right now!), so I think I would stitch the colors on the back.

Thank you for sharing another interesting video. I love the Alice Parks sampler and must add that to my very long HATS wish list. I’m 61 and also had a long break from stitching which I now really regret but the pressure of work and life sadly left me no time for stitching, luckily I’m now retired and catching up. I always just bought kits with 18 count Aida but now I’m branching out and trying linen for the first time, I’m edging my 28 count cashel with blanket stitch tonight ready to stitch Agnes Husband. I hope it goes OK because I have Annie Morris and Charlotte Entwistle kitted up ready to go with X Ju linen and Soie D’Alger silk and I can’t wait to stitch them. 😁 Kind regards, Sylvia.

My dog, Mavis has one hip that is out of place a little bit. We have been giving hip and joint with hemp. It seems to be making a difference compared to anti-inflammatory, which did no difference.

Lovely video … Nicola. Love each piece you shared. I’m especially loved the New release, & the tiny Red sampler. Most importantly thank you for Hugo’s update…♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️ His medication will be a resourceful come the colder & rainy damp days…. My Tiny Tim suffered more in these climates. But aren’t we Blessed we have Drs who love our pets as we do… & help us through tough times. Your newly purchased sampler is a beauty! I'd definitely prefer to stitch colours more like the front. I missed out on the first batch of tea towels - will those same first set of designs be restocked? I particularly like those samplers.

I am sorry Claudia but they sold out as soon as they were listed. I have ordered more with new designs but there is a three month turnaround. I hope that next time you will be able to secure a set.

I also love the sampler you got! I prefer to stitch the front with the more muted colors. The back is very nice, but a little bright for my taste! I can definitely see the appeal of the brighter colors for the little girl who stitched it! It probably brightened her days as she worked on it making her feel happy! I'm surprised they had such bright colors available back then! She is a beauty!

Hi Nicola, Great seeing you today ❤ We lost our black lab in November. He was only 9 and healthy as an ox. He passed in his sleep. He was a WONDERFUL family dog. Loved my grandchildren. They were so devastated as was I. It was very unexpected. 💔💔💔 What breed is Hugo and Bertie? We are thinking about getting another fur baby. You take care and have a great week ahead ❤
