My favorite dynamic duo! You’re like a mug of hot chocolate with peppermint whipped cream on a cold winter day. Some friends and I are planning to start a new project on December 31. We’re calling it our “123123 stitch” (12/31/23). Anita, I stitched the Milady’s Needle kit. From my experience, you might have to enlarge the hole in the spool for a scissor to fit. I have to say Fiberworks is definitely an adventure!

Thanks for another fun video. I have been thinking that 24 is the year of WIPs. A WIP for me is any project that has been started but has not been completely stitched. I plan to list my WIPs as of the end of 23. Whatever day or days I choose for WIP focus, I will allow myself to choose what suits my fancy from the list. I will join your WOF stitch. I believe there’s power in numbers of stitchers as well as power in being able to choose what I stitch. I also love the 24/7 idea. Love this brain storming! I never stick to plans, but having plans brings me back into focus with my stitching each year.

What fun this was! A wip is anything I have worked on. I only have 7 wips. I work on whatever I feel like regardless of the age of the wip. This is fun and never regimented. That was work and I’m retired.

Fabulous video! To me a wip is anything that has one or more stitches in it. I'm pretty much a monogamous stitcher. I do have one wip currently put away, not sure if i will ever finish it - it was a mystery and not what i had in mind. I've been focused on Christmas my last few projects, currently on a big one, plus an ornament that its bugging me to have two wips instead of one. I don't like to start something new until everything is completed.Today was my 65th birthday,and I've had a birthday start still unopened i waiting for today to start, but i can't until my current two are done. Pretty weird, i know. I have been enjoying Readly with all of the cross stitch magazines, some in other languages too. I like the La D Da idea, i have both of those charts, and I would like to have the rabbit one done for Easter, maybe with a blue coat like Peter Rabbit. Merry Christmas my dear sparkly ladies!

I needed this video today because this morning I am saying goodbye to my "Jolly" stitching sister- like-bestie of 40 years!! The last 9 years we got back into our love of cross stitch and have enjoyed attending many retreats, talked endlessly of new releases and always about our plans. Your chit chat and giggles on this video has been salve coating my broken heart on this difficult day. Thank you.
