I just finished stitching her name when I checked my phone and saw your comment. I literally just stitched the name Kimmel, as that was her last name too! Maybe it’s a sign she approves! Kimmel was her married name, but my grandfather was also from Pennsylvania! His name was William Dexter Kimmel. He was born in 1920, and I believe he was from Brownsville. He had several brothers and sisters. His wife, my grandmother, was named Nellie and they lived in Maryland. Wouldn’t that be a small world! ♥️

Thanks for showing your crochet and your cross stitch. Your projects are beautiful! I'm just starting to learn to crochet. I'm starting with dishcloths and am just doing one kind of stitch in each dishcloth. I've finished one and have started a second. I don't spend much time at it because I seem to always go to the cross stitch. I understand about being emotional at your son's graduation. Hi there! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing some crochet :) I know not everyone likes that in their flosstubes! Dish clothes are such a great way to learn the stitches and develop some muscle memory. I have been doing it for a long time, but still have to google stitches sometimes! lol Crochet was my main hobby for a long time, so it is nice to pull it out every so often!

@@wideeyedstitchingchild My closest LNS is The Stitching Post. Since they downsized they don't carry as much. I'll have to check out the Needlecraft Corner. I don't like driving in Balto anymore. I've worked there for over 20 years but since "C" hit I've been working remote and really don't miss the commute! I'm in EC. I'll have to try getting to Hagerstown. With the outlets closing a lot of their stores we don't get out that way. Thanks for sharing!

Ohh, thank you! Ms. Cora is a total mutt, but she is mostly Great Pyrenees and Mountain Cur. She also has a little Pit Bull, Lab, Chow Chow, Husky, and Staffordshire Terrier. Shes a total sweetie! 🖤
