Hi, Vicky, wow, what lovely June stitches! Congrats on the FFO, FO and semi FO! I'm working on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow, and a couple of your suggestions made a huge difference: 1. I took the time to stitch all the borders so I can move where I want and 2. I used your 9 half crosses and one full cross to easily keep track of counting around the borders (GENIUS!!!). I love watching WIP parades, so whatever format is easiest for you is good with me. Safe travels, and I really hope you've included some cross stitch shops in your US loop tour. Happy Stitching! Vicki, last year I found a framed cross stitch piece at a thrift store. Of course I bought it and brought it home… I looked it over, and a week later went to my LNS… wouldn’t you know it, there was the pattern for that piece!! It was the one you stitched, Prairie Schooler’s Village!!! I would love to see all your WIPs, I don’t care how long the video would be or if you do 20 of them! I enjoy seeing your stitching! I wish we could have met at Stitch-Con, however I was in Weekend A! Have a fantastic time with your mom, sounds like an amazing trip!

I am amazed at how many projects you have started. I just finished The Angel Of Hope by Lavender and Lace. It was on 16 count which is just too small for me. My daughter started it 25 years ago and hadn't done much. I have to do graph lines in light blue thin thread to keep count (then pull out). I use the scroll to stitch, mine has a part that I sit on so I can use both hands. Be careful with your hand that holds the hoop, I have damaged my left thumb (I call it my craft thumb.). I recently did Maggie The Mess Maker by Dementions and swore I would never again something so complicated!

Hi Vicky. After hearing you talk about the strength of reading glasses you use and that you still struggle, I hope you are having your eyes examined yearly. I know you say you don't have any issues but only they can tell. I have macula degeneration in both eyes. Central vision is gone in one and the other is good so far. Treasure your eyes. I know I do now. If you need an eye doctor I can recommend Fields Family Eycare on rt 17 in Stafford. I went there for several years.

It looks like you are having the same problem there as we are here in South Carolina. We are in our fourth day of a heat advisory. In order to be able to breathe in this humidity, our air conditioners are running high. But I have to wear a light jacket or use a light cover because it makes me cold. I even used a rolled-up bandana headband over my ears. Once the air conditioner stops running, I am fine though. But it is amusing (or maddening) to have to carry a light jacket in July.

Do you or anyone else know if they make a magnifier with a light that can be used when I’m stitching with an 11” x 17” Q Snap. I have a Halo Go, but I can’t get the Q Snap under it. It always bumps into the pole of it. Thanks! Love you and your shows Vicky!!
